    Tonawanda, announce the engagement and forthcoming
    marriage of their daughter, Sharon L. to Dean R. Broeker,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Broeker, 860 Walck Road,
    North Tonawanda. Miss Fingerlow is a June graduate of
    North Tonawanda Senior High School. Her fiance attended
    North Tonawanda High School. The wedding will take
    place Aug. 7 in Payne Avenue Christian Church, North
    Tonawanda.

    Christian Church, are Mr. and Mrs. Dean R. Broeker who
    are now at home in 222 Goundry St., North Tonawanda. The
    former Miss Sharon Lee Fingerlow, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Harold Fingerlow, 328 North Ave., and the son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Wallace Broeker, 830 Walck Road, were married
    in a candlelight ceremony. The Rev. Charles Hobbs officiated.
    The bride was attired in a Chantilly lace dress and
    elbow length veil caught to a double crown of crystals and
    pearls. She carried white roses and pompons in a colonial
    bouquet. Her attendants, Miss Faye Fingerlow, maid of honor,
    and Miss Donna Fingerlow, bridesmaids, wore white lace
    over powder blue and pink chiffon gowns. Similarly attired
    was Darcy Wilson, flower girl. They carried red roses and
    pompons. Attendants for the bridegroom were Robert Broeker,
    best man, Dennis Harder and John Wolf. A reception
    was given in Gratwick Fire Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Broeker
    traveled to the Pocono Mountains and New York City.

    Locust St., died Saturday (Nov.
    27, 1971) at DeGraff Memorial
    Hospital after a long illness.
    He was a life long resident of
    this city, and was employed by
    the Tamburlin Auto Service.
    He was a member of St. Paul
    Lutheran Church and Bradwick
    Hose Company No. 6.
    He is survived by his widow,
    the former Irene Harder; two
    sons, Robert W. Broeker of
    Grand Island and Dean R.
    Broeker of Pendleton; three
    sisters, Mrs. Leona Helwig and
    Mrs. Daniel Daboll, both of this
    city, and Mrs. Roy Murphy of
    Wilksboro, Pa.; and three
    grandchildren.
    Funerall services will be
    conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday
    at the Fretthold Funeral Home
    with the Rev. Matthew
    Pushkas officiating. Burial will
    be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4
    p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at
    the funeral home.

    was active in the Sunday
    school.
    She was the wife of the late
    William Broeker, who died in
    June, 1965. She is survived by
    three daughters, Mrs. Leona
    Helwig and Mrs. Daniel
    (Geneva > Daboll, both of North
    Tonawanda, and Mrs. Roy
    (Margaret) Murphy of State
    College, Pa.; a son, Wallace
    W. Broeker of North Tonawanda:
    11 grandchildren, 16 great -

    sisters, Mrs. Alma Weinheimer
    and Mrs. Charles Zimmerman,
    both of North Tonawanda. The
    late Kenneth G. Broeker was a

    Mrs. Amanda Harder, 77, of 524 Locust St., North Tonawanda, formerly of 7248 Ward Road, Town of Wheatfield, died in DeGraff Memorial Hospital Saturday (Oct 21, 1972) after a long illness. She was a life long resident of this area and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, St John's Ladies Aid Society, St. Johnsburg Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons. Henry W. Harder of North Tonawanda, and Norman A. Harder of the Town of Wheatfield; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace (Irene) Broeker of North Tonawanda; three sisters, Mrs. William (Florence) Andres, Mrs. Edward (Clara) Zastrow, and Mrs. Leona Werth, all of the Town of Wheatfield, five grandsons, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St John's Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Albert W. Bahr officiating. Burial will be in St John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., and all day Monday and Tuesday.
