Mary's Hospital where he was
rushed after suffering a heart
.attack at his home.
Born in Niagara Falls, he
was a shift foreman at the
Stauffer Chemical' Co. plant
where he was employed for 38
years. He was a member of
the Stauffer 25-Year Club.
Surviving are his widow,
Mrs. Hulda Berds; two daughters,
Mrs. Sharon Reed, this
city, and Mrs. Alberta Risley,
of Rota, Spain; one son, Robert
Berds, Ft. Dix, N. J., and five
grandchildren.
Also, surviving are his mother.
Mrs. Nellie Berds, this city;
four brothers, Felix,. Peter,
John and Charles Berds, this
city, and three sisters, Mrs.
Michael (Rose) S c h i a v o n e ,
Lewiston, Mrs. Joseph , (Margaret)
Rogan this city, and
Mrs. Mary Favro, Olean.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Otto
Redanz Funeral Home and at
9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa of the
Infant Jesus Church. Burial
will be in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.
