Grad of Starpoint 1981, Carl worked as a Pipefitter and enjoyed collecting antiques and unique items. Known for his amazing sense of humor, kind heart, and his shenanigans.
Loving son of June and Henry Dege; father of Morgan Dege; grandfather to Remmington Dege; brother to Kathy Saunders (Jeff Stowell), Debbie Dege, Henry Dege (Vicky) Richard Dege; Neice and caregiver Shanta Dege Lindsey Saunders, and Shana Morgan. Nephews Nate Saunders, Henry Dege, Hayden Dege and Evan Dege; Great nieces Keyaira and Aliyah Hamilton; Great nephew Roman Morgan; cousins and extended family; MANY friends

Charles E. Buchanan, 58 years old,
retired patrolman, died yesterday in
Mercy Hospital after an illness of
two years. He was taken to the hos-
pital a week ago.
A member of the police department
for 24 years, Mr. Buchanan was
pensioned on Aprill 30,, 1933. He re-
ceived his appointment on Novem-
ber 3, 1909,, spending most of his
time at the Washington Street sta-
tion.
Mr Buchanan was a member of
the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the
Orioles, a member of the Erie Club
and the Buffalo Police Mutual Aid
and Benefit Association.
He is survived by four sons,
James K., a lineman in the police
department; John R.,, William P.
and Charles E., Jr., and five daugh-
ters, Catherine E., Mary F., Joseph-
ine A., Veronice F and Mrs. Ade-
line F. Seifert.
Funeral services will be held at the
home, Schuller Road, Highland-on-
the-Lake, Derby, at 9 o'clock Thurs-
day morning, and at St. Monica's
church, Orlando Street, near Seneca
Street, an hour later. Burial will
be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Charles married DAGNESS, Josephine M about 1906. Josephine (daughter of Adaline) was born in Jan 1880 in New York; died on 10 Feb 1960 in Derby, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

the late Charles Buchanan, she
was the mother of James K.,
Charles E., Mrs. Carl Fruck,
Mrs. John Sexton, Mrs. Edwin
Siefert, William P., Mrs. Emory
Younkins, Veronica and the late
John J. Buchanan; and sister
of Mrs. Caroline Buckley, Mrs.
Mathilda Whalen and the late
Philip Dagness and Mrs. Daniel
Madigan. She is also survived
by 33 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren
