    Roger A. Bruning passed away March 3, 2024 in Orchard Manor.  Born July 7, 1964 on Medina he was the son of Clayton W. and Gladys M. (Waterstreet) Bruning.  Roger worked for Erie County Department of Social Services where he was a counselor.  He is survived by his children Zachary and Emma Bruning; and sister Donna (Michael) Killion.  Besides his parents Roger was also predeceased by his brother Howard Bruning.
    Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Hartland Central Cemetery.

    Obituary of Gladys Bruning

    Gladys M. Bruning passed away December 11, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born November 13, 1932 in Royalton she was the daughter of Howard and Hilda (Baehr) Waterstreet. Gladys worked for Mount View Health Care Facility where she was a nurses aide retiring in 1999. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and also the Gasport Senior Citizens and Dale Association.
    Gladys is survived by her children Howard (Nora) Bruning, Roger Bruning, and Donna (Michael) Killion; grandmother of Amanda, Aaron, Kristin, Jennifer, Denyel, Tom, Zachary, Emma, and Eric; and thirteen great grandchildren; sister of the late Bernard Bruning and Dorothy Waterstreet.
    Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 14th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 15th at 11 AM in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7147 Ridge Rd. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.     Lutheran Church.
    He was husband of the late
    Alice (Reabold) Bruning.
    Survivors include four sons

    today at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross
    Lutheran Church with the Rev.
    William A. Dietsche officiating.
    Burial was In Mount
    Pleasant Cemetery, West
    Shelby.

    to Holy Cross Lutheran
    Church.

    Born March 3, 1904. in the
    Town of Royalton, Mrs. Bruning
    was a daughter of William
    F. and Kinma Eschenburg
    Reabolt. She was a member
    of Holy Cross Lutheran
    Church and had resided here
    for 19 years.
    In addition to her husband,

    WOLSCOTTSVILLE. Nov. 15.-
    The marriage of Hilda Beahr. daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beahr,
    of Wolcottsville, to Howard Waterstreet,
    also of Wolcottsville, was
    solemnized Wednesday evening at
    the St. Micheal's Evangelical Lutheran
    church here. Rev. Frederick
    Schleef officiating.
    Palms and pink ribbons were used
    in the decorations of the church and
    the wedding march was played by
    during the ceremony.
    Kred Winters with "O Promise Me"
    The bride was gowned in white
    pussy willow taffeta over white
    satin with rhlnestone trimming. Her
    veil was embroidered and she carried
    a hower bouquet of bride
    roses and chrysanthemums. Miss
    Louise Altman of Middleport, as
    maid of honor, wore a gown of
    green crepe while the second attendant,
    Mrs. Millard Walter, wore
    a gown of white satin and each carried
    pink roses. Otto Beahr and
    Millard Walter attended the groom.
    The ushers were Harold Beahr and
    Ernest Shilling with Evelyn Beahr
    acting as flower girl. Both Mrs.
    Beahr and Mrs. Waterstreet, mothers
    of the bride and groom, wore
    costumes of brown silk crepe.
    Some 45 guests attended the reception
    which was held at the home
    of the bride where pink and white
    were used In the house decorations
    with sixteen seated at the bridal
    table.
    The groom's gift to the bride was
    a handsome leather purse and to
    his attendants bill folds while the
    bride presented spoons to her maid
    and matron.
    Guests were present from Middleport,
    Buffalo and Wolscottsvllle.
    Mr. and Mrs. Waterstreet will reside
    at the home of the bride's parents.
