Mrs. Celeste Geltz, 76, of 1820
Saunders Settlement Road, died
in Niagara Falls Memorial
Hospital Friday (Aug. 19, 1966)
after a short illness.
She was born in the Town of
Wheatfield and lived in this
area all her life.
She was an active member of
the Ladies Aid Society of Grace
Lutheran Church, N i a g a ra
Falls.
She is survived by her husband,
Louis Geltz, and two sons,
Richard A., Town of Niagara,
and Kenneth L. Geltz, Town of
Lewiston. She is also survived
by one sister, Mrs. Alma Haseley,
Lockport, and one brother,
Andrew Walk, Albion, N.Y., and
by nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran
Church by Rev. Walter G.
Schultz.
Friends may call at the Lane
Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m.
starting today.
Members of the family said
memorial tributes may be made
to Grace Lutheran Church.

The silver wedding anniversary
of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Feltz, of
North Military road, which was ob-
served Saturday, June 24, with a
buffet supper and reception, was
one of the most unique and interest-
ing anniversaries held in this city
in a long time. Not only were their
two sons, Richard and Kenneth,
present and many of their friends,
but receiving with Mr. and Mrs.
Gelts were the members of their
wedding party 25 years ago, wiith
Mrs. Harold Austin, the former
Augusta Burrow, maid of honor in
the wedding in 1918; with the
former bridesmaids, Mrs. Edward
Krull, of North tonawanda, who
was Miss Irene Hasley and Mrs.
Phillip Walck, formerly miss Rose
Devantier, of Sanborn, N.Y.
the best man at the wedding was
Mr. Carl Geltz and his ushers were
Mr. Harry haseley, of North Tona-
wanda, and from this city Mr.
Robert Neville, Mr. Archie Neville
and Mrs. John Mueller.
Twenty-five years ago Mr. Gelts
arrived home six weeks before his
wedding date from overseas duty
in the First World War. His best
man and ushers wee all his friends
who had returned only a short time
before the wedding, from overseas
duty.
At the wedding anniversary, which
was held in the hall of the Veter-
ans of Foreign Wars of the United
States, Buffalo avenue and Eighty-
seventh street, more than 100
friends were present. Mrs. Feltz
wore a light blye floor-length gown
f crepe with a corsage of dainty
summer flowers. She wore a silver
ornament in her hair. Mrs. Austin
wore a gown of wine lace and silk.
Mrs. Krull wore a black and white
summer print and Mrs. Walck was
in a summer print. Each wore a
corsage of mixed flowers.
The three tier wedding cake was
set in summer flowers with tall
silver holders holding white tapers
at each end of the table.
Mr. and Mrs. Geltz were both
bom in this city, have made it their
home for the last 25 years. They
were the recipients of many lovely
anniversary gifts. Friends were
here from North Tonawanda, Hornell.
N. Y, Akron, N. Y , Lockport,
and this city.
