    NIAGARA FALLS—Lloyd E. Harrington, 82, past president of Lockport Carpenters Local 280, died May 15, 1990, in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Akron Oct. 8, 1902, he was the son of Ella Kuhn and George H. Harrington Sr. He moved to Pekin in 1935. He was a member and past president of Carpenters Local 280 for 49 years. He had retired from Wright and Kremer in Niagara Falls, where he had been a superintendent. He was an active member of the Pekin United Methodist Church, where he served as lay leader and trustee. He was also a member and past president of the Pekin Volunteer Fire Co., the Exempt Firemen of Pekin and the Pekin Grange 1202. He was active in 4-H, being the first 4-H leader in Pekin, and he was well known for his square dance calling and auctioneering. His first wife, Ellen Kaegebein Harrington, predeceased him in 1962. He moved to Niagara Falls in 1964. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Mabel Fitch, Ruth Linderman and Beatrice Holzman. He is survived by his wife, Edith Schultz Harrington; his children, the Rev. Roger (Marjorie) Harrington of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Janice LaSal of Medina, the Rev. Dr. Richard (Margaret) Harrington of Snyder, Beth Ellen (Roger) Knight of Atlanta, Ga., Norma O'Brien of Niagara Falls, Douglas Harrington of Waterloo, Ronald Harrington of Ventura, Calif., Mary Lou (Donald) Krish of Medina, Ohio, Ellen (Anthony) Previte of Niagara Falls, Elaine (G. Lee Seymour of Emporia, Va., Keith (Rogene) Schultz of Lockport; and 40 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at the Rhoney Funeral Home Inc. 5893 Road, Sanborn. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Pekin United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Duane Kofahl officiating.
    Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pekin United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the Kidney Foundation. The Pekin Volunteer Fire Co. will conduct memorial services Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    PEKIN - Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today for Mrs. Ellen D. Harrington, 55, of 3210 Lower Mountain Road, who died Friday evening (Sept. 28, 1962) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. She had been in ill health for four years. Mrs. Harrington was born Aug. 26, 1907, in Tonawanda. She was a member of the Pekin Methodist Church and all of its organizations, secretary of Pekin Grange 1202, founder and first president of the Pekin PTA and also held district and state PTA offices at one time.

    Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Schutte, North Tonawanda, announce the marriage of their daughter, Edith N. Schultz, 708 - 84th St., Niagara Falls, to Lloyd E. Harrington, Sanborn, at the Brockport Methodist Church Oct. 10. 1964. The Rev. Richard W. Harrington, son of the bridegroom, officiated. Mrs. Anthony Previte, Niagara Falls, daughter of the bride, was matron of honor and the Rev. Roger L. Harrington, Columbia, S. C. was best man for his father, Keith and Duane Schultz, sons of the bride, were ushers. Following the ceremony, dinner was served in the church dning room for the immediate families. After a wedding trip through the southeastern states, the couple will reside at 708 - 84th Street, Niagara Falls.
