    Notes:

    Jack Maggi, 68, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 surrounded by his beloved family at home. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Rizzuto) Maggi.
    Jack attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On May 19, 1984 he married the love of his life, Beth (Bevacqua) Maggi in St. Joseph’s Church.
    For many years, Jack was employed by Fresenius Kabi in Grand Island, NY. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and had a great love for music. He was also passionate about his Corvette.
    Above all, Jack dedicated his life to being a devoted husband, father and grandfather to Ava and Amelia. He cherished the many memories made while spending time with his friends and family who will miss him dearly.
    In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by two sons, Joseph W. (Kristen) Maggi and Nicholas A. (Tyler Szumada) Maggi; his granddaughters, Ava Josephine Maggi and Amelia Erin Maggi; his brother Joseph (Craig Hyde) Maggi; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and William Bevacqua, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, David (Micheline) Bevacqua.
    Jack’s family wishes to thank the amazing staff on 6 East of Roswell Park Cancer Center for their outstanding care and compassion. They also extend a special thank you to their dear friends for their unwavering love and support.  
    Visitation will be on Sunday, June 2 from 2 – 6 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Jack’s funeral services will be held Monday, June 3 at 10:00 AM in Riverside Presbyterian Church, 815 84th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Please assemble at church. Entombment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, give.roswellpark.org/ or Niagara Hospice, niagarahospice.org.

    Notes:

    Joseph Maggi, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in L’Aquila, Italy he was the son of the late Giacomo and Maria Maggi.

    Joseph was educated in Italy and on November 7, 1953 he married Florence (Rizzuto) Maggi at St. Patrick’s Church in Canada. Mrs. Maggi predeceased him on May 9, 2012. Joe was a member of the Laborer’s Local Union 91 in Niagara Falls, NY and worked as a laborer at various area construction sites for more than thirty years until retiring. He was also a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and the Hyde Park Bocce League both in Niagara Falls, NY. One of Joseph’s greatest pleasures was spending time with his friends at McDonald’s on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls. He also enjoyed tending to his garden and playing cards.

    Mr. Maggi is survived by two sons Jack (Beth) Maggi of the Town of Niagara and Joseph Maggi; two grandsons Joseph William (fiancée Kristen DeMarco) and Nicholas Anthony Maggi; two sisters Bianca Maggi and Elana Maggi both of Italy and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers.

    Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 7th at 10 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Drive, Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14228.
