    , 81, of Medina, passed from this life to eternal life on Friday, June 7, 2024.
    Sid was born in Williamsville, NY on June 10, 1942, a son of the late Sidney E. Lovell, Sr. and Marianne (Schickler) Lovell. He was the eldest of seven children. Sid graduated from Williamsville High School in 1960. He then served in the US Army Reserves with the 85th Engineering Battalion out of Webster, NY and was honorably discharged in 1969. Sid married the former Donna J. Munson on February 14, 1979. Sid held various managerial positions with General Electric, Bo-Mer Plastics and Fisher-Price Toys. Lastly, he worked as a crew leader in job development for Orleans County. 
    Sid was an exceptional athlete in football, baseball, track & field and wrestling. His greatest love was slow-pitch softball. Sid served as the Softball League Commissioner for Orleans County for over 25 years. There was not a day that went by that he could not be seen on the ball fields in Medina, preparing them for little leagues and men’s and women’s softball. His softball career culminated in his induction into the NYS USSSA Hall of Fame in March 2010.
    Sid was predeceased by both parents and his brothers, Robert and Gary Lovell.
     He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Donna J. Lovell; daughter, Beth Goodman; sons, Sean (Sheila) Lovell and Scott (Sarah) Lovell; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marianne Pearson, Jane (Cecil) John; and brothers, Howard Lovell and Brian (Terri) Lovell.
    Calling hours will be held on his birthday, Monday, June 10 from 10AM-12PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. His funeral service will immediately follow at 12PM and interment with full military honors will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery. 
    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/wny.

    Betty J. Munson, 90, of the Town of Royalton, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville.
    Born September 28, 1930 in the Town of Royalton, Betty was a daughter of the late William and Irene (Raduns) Lindke. She graduated from Royalton-Hartland High School in the class of 1948. Betty was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She worked as a secretary for the Royalton-Hartland Elementary School. Betty enjoyed knitting, quilting and was an avid reader.
    Predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Munson on July 20, 1954; and brother, William Lindke.
    Survivors include her two daughters, Donna (Sidney) Lovell of Medina and Marcia (Paul) Kempton of Lebanon, TN; seven grandchildren, Beth Goodman, Sean (Shelia) Lovell, Scott Lovell, Paul (Jennifer) Kempton III, Burton Kempton, Amy (Alex) McElroy and David (Katie) Kempton; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Nachreiner; sister in-law, Carol Lindke; and several nieces and nephews.
    A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at a later date. Private interment will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 6377 Wolcottsville Rd., Akron, NY 14001. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.

    Middleport - William J. Lindke, 54, of Mountain Rd. Town of Royalton, died unexpectedly Monday evening June 27, 1960 of a heart attack while baling hay on a neighbor's farm. Born on April 17, 1906 in the Town of Royalton, he was the son of William and Minnie Schubel Lindke. He was a member of St. Michael;s Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Surviving are his wife, Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Munson of the Town of Royalton and Mrs. David Nachreiner of Tonawanda; a son William, at home, a stepson David F. Kams of the U.S. Navy, stationed in California; a brother Gustave of Wolcottsville, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 Thursday afternoon at St. Michael's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Irene Raduns Lindke, 45, wife of William J. Lindke Mountain Road Town of Royalton passed away Wednesday evening, (June 20, 1956) in Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo. She was born September 4, 1910 in the Town of Royalton, the daughter of John and Ida Middlestadt Raduns. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, and has always lived in this vicinity. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Betty Munson, William Lindke Jr., both at home, and Mrs. David Nachreiner of Tonawanda; two grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Raduns of Middle port: three brothers and three sisters, Walter Raduns of Medina, Homer Raduns of Akron, Robert Radons of Newfane. Mrs. Kenneth Weeks of Lockport, Mrs. Helen Thurborn of California and Miss Ida Raduns of Middleport; also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday and Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, Middleport, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 3 o'clock at St. Michael's Church, Wolcottsville, the Rev.
