    Notes:

    Lewis Angelo Burgio, age 75 of Sanborn, NY, was called to his heavenly home on June 25, 2024 at the Niagara Hospice House, Town of Lockport, NY. Born in Buffalo, NY on January 12, 1949; son of the late Angelo and Frances (Camizzi) Burgio. He was a long time member of St. James Lutheran Church, in Bergholz. Lewis had been employed at Eberl Ironworks, Degraff Hospital, Northgate Health Care Facility, and most recently the Seneca Niagara Casino. He was a former member of the National War Plane Museum, enjoyed bird watching, nature and the outdoors, and family vacations.Survivors include his wife, Mary S. (Silvis) Burgio, whom he married on May 25, 1991; a son, Keith Miller (Donalynn Caudill) of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Susan (Mike) Ferrio and Francine Burgio; a brother, Paul (Donna) Burgio; three grandchildren, Alexis and Alyssia Fuller, and Matthew Lochren; and two great-grandchildren, Octavia and Grayson Fuller.Also was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Miller; and two brothers, Joseph and Angelo Burgio Jr.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday (June 28) from 4-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Kaminska, on Saturday (June 29) at 10:00 a.m. in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, or to the church.

    Notes:

    BILLY L. SILVIS SR., age 89, entered into rest on January 15, 2019 at the Elderwood at Cheektowaga facility. Born in Brookville, Pennsylvania on August 22, 1929; son of the late Bert and Sara (Lucas) Silvis. Billy is a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1948-1952. He was employed at General Motors Powertrain plant in Tonawanda, New York and retired as an inspector. Billy was a member of the American Legion Tonawanda Post 264, enjoyed working with electronics, and was a sports fan. 
    Survivors include three children, Mary (Lewis) Burgio, Billy (Becky) Silvis Jr., and Larry (Lynn) Silvis; five brothers and sisters, Sally (Don) Ziegler, Donna Barger, Albert (Lorraine) Silvis, Gene (Tillie) Silvis, and Laddie Silvis; six grandchildren, Keith, Billy III, Katie, Michael, Justin, and Shelby; and five great-grandchildren.
    He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelly; two sisters, Flo Gaunt, and Lillian Kunselman; and a brother, Jim Silvis.
    Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday (January 19) from 4:00-7:30 p.m. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Dan Tabor, officiating. Entombment will take place in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
