    Notes:

    SOOS, Coleman 87, a retired employee of NCR, died Nov. 22 at Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne, Fla.. He had Parkinson's and congestive heart failure. Mr. Soos came to the United States from his native Hungary in 1949 with two young daughters and a pregnant wife. He began his new life in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, working on a dairy farm. He came to this country with no money and speaking no English. After two years he moved his family to Dayton, where he worked at NCR until he retired. In Hungary, Mr. Soos was a skilled carpenter and cabinetmaker. In Dayton, he also worked part-time as a cabinetmaker in a small private shop. He attended night school to learn English and he became a proud U.S. citizen after five years. Mr. Soos was a long-time member of the Hungarian Evangelical Church on Troy Pike. His wife of 29 years, Gizella Soos, died in 1972. He was a loving husband and father working two jobs for many years to provide for his family. In the last three years, he delighted in being in Florida among his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his four children, Agnes Soos of Alexandria, Va.; Grace Harber of Rockledge, Fla.; C. John Soos of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Thomas Soos of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren, Tim Harber of Merritt Island, Fla.; Terry Harber of Fort Myers, Fla.; and Anthony Soos and Katelyn Soos of Miami, Fla.; four great-grandchildren, Dalton Harber, Carston Harber, Bryson Harber, and Logan Coleman Harber, all of Florida; and his sister, Anna of Romania. He is also survived by his ex-wife of 32 years, Anna Marie Soos of Dayton.
