    SANBORN - Anna M. (Breitenbach) Wendt, 92, formerly of Saunders Settlement Road, died Friday (July 21, 1995) in Fairchild Manor Nursing Home in Lewiston. She was born Dec. 9, 1902, in Wheatfield, the daughter of Phillip and Augusta (Behm) Breitenbach. She lived at her Saunders Settlement Road homestead in Sanborn for 63 years before moving into the nursing home. Mrs. Wendt attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in the Town of Niagara. She was a member of the Sanborn Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing and ceramics. Mrs. Wendt was the widow of the late Benjamin Wendt, who died in 1972. She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Wendt and Ronald P. Wendt, both of Sanborn; a daughter, Annette Stahl of Sanborn; a brother, John Breitenbach of Niagara FaJls; a sister, Katherine Pokelwaldt of Niagara Falls; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Louis Breitenbach, Walter Breitenbach, Frederick Breitenbach, Henry Breitenbach, Margaret Bayer and Else Bayer. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Wheatfield. The Rev. Gary Luderman will conduct services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Our Savior Lutheran Church, Military Road, Town of Niagara. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Savior Lutheran Church building fund.

    A funeral service for Anna M. Wendt, 92, of Fairchild Manor Nursing Home, Lewiston, formerly of Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in Our Savior Lutheran Church, Military Road, Town of Niagara.
    Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
    Mrs. Wendt died Friday (July 21, 1995) in the nursing home.
    Born in Wheatfield, Mrs. Wendt lived in Sanborn for 63 years.
    She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the Sanborn Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing and ceramics.
    She was the widow of Benjamin Wendt, who died in 1972. They had been married nearly 50 years.

    PHILIP BREITENBACH
    Philip Breitenbach, 78, of 96 Robinson St., died Wednesday in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Germany, Mr. Breitenbach came to the U.S. when he was 12 years old and has since been a resident of the North Tonawanda area. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church of Wendelville. Surviving are five sons: Louis, Fred, Henry and Walter all of North Tonawnda, and John of the Town of Tonawanda, four daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Wendt of Sanborn, Mrs. Edward Pokelwaldt of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Kenneth Bayer and Mrs. Earl Bayer of Wendelville; 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers, Louis of the Town of Amherst and Adam of North Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Toellner of the Town of Amherst. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St, the Rev. Karl Kindt officiating. Burial will be in Wheatfield cemetery.

    Adam Reitenbach (sic), 82 years old, died this morning at his home, Shawnee road, town of Wheatfield, where he had resided for the last 40 years, coming to America from Germany. He is survived by three sons, Philip, Pickard's Bridge; Louis, town of Amherst, and Adam, Wheatfield; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Toellner, Amherst; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and a brother, William, Wheatfield. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time at the residence. Rev. Andrew Hils of the Salem church will conduct the services and interment will be in the Wheatfield cemetery.
