We are researching the Schaus family history from 1600s Germanyto the early 1900s in Canada and present day Western New York.

Martin of El Paso, TX for which we are most grateful.We would also like to hear from any descendants of the Fleissners or Pfarners from early 1900s Boston N.Y. or anyone else.Our part of the Schaus' arrived in New York in the late 1840s, traveled the Erie Canal to Buffalo and crossed into Canada and settled near Kitchener,Ontario. Jacob V.Schaus,My grandfather moved his entire families (children from first and second wives) to WNY in 1920.
