Schaus; mother of Gary (Katie), Robert, William, James (Cindy), Kathy (Michael) Ryan and the late Patricia Schaus; grandmother of Erin, Carl, Brian, Benjamin, Heidi, Colin and the late Rick Schaus; great-grandmother of Aiden, Anye, Luca and Katie; sister of Shirley Perkins and the late John Fleissner; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a grave side service Friday at 11 AM at Sardinia Rural Cemetery, Genesse Rd, Sardinia, NY. No prior visitation. Flowers gratefully declined. Martin of El Paso, TX for which we are most grateful.We would also like to hear from any descendants of the Fleissners or Pfarners from early 1900s Boston N.Y. or anyone else.Our part of the Schaus' arrived in New York in the late 1840s, traveled the Erie Canal to Buffalo and crossed into Canada and settled near Kitchener,Ontario. Jacob V.Schaus,My grandfather moved his entire families (children from first and second wives) to WNY in 1920.
