    A FLOOR LENGTH gown of light ivory
    colored Italian silk and Alencon lace was
    selected by Miss Marlene Townsend, 546 18th
    St., this city, for her marriage Saturday (Jan.
    14, 1967) to Edward M. Courtenay of 4 Southwood
    Drive, Kenmore.
    The double-ring ceremony was held at St.
    Andrew's Church. Kenmore, at 11 a.m.
    The bride is the daughter of Donald E.
    Townsend, 1406 101st St., and the late Mrs.
    Townsend. .Mr. Courtenay is the son of the
    late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Courtenay.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride's
    gown was designed with a modified empire
    bodice, elbow sleeves and a detachable chapel
    length train with scroll's of beaded lace appliques.
    A bead-encrusted crown of matching lace
    caught her bouffant ve:l and she carried a
    pink rose and crystal rosary on a white missal.

    MRS. WILLIAM CLAYTON, . Macedon.
    N.Y., was matron of honor. Her sown of rose
    crepe was styled with a modified A-line .skirt
    featuring a watteau back. A matching bow
    held her butterfly veil and she carried a cascade
    bouquet of pink carnations and pompons.
    Mrs. Patrica Hoffman, Sanborn, bridesmaid,
    wore a similar gown in pink and carried
    rose colored flowers. Catherine Townsend,
    niece of the bride, was flower girl. She was
    dressed in pink and carried a basket of
    assorted pink and rose flowers.
    Dennis Hrusa, Lancaster, was best man,
    and Francis Boutet, Kenmore, was usher.
    A dinner and reception were held at the
    Continental Inn after the ceremony.
    After a wedding trip'to Nassau, Mr. and
    Mrs. Courtenay will make their home at 4
    Southwood Drive, Kenmore.
