Loving Mother & Grandmother

Sandra Mae Dell, 75, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 12, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey, Sr. and Mildred (Mehls) Huff.

Sandra attended local schools in Niagara Falls. On June 9, 1956, she married Robert F. Dell. Robert predeceased her on April 8, 2005 after 48 loving years together. Sandra owned and operated the former Dell's Crown Restaurant with her late husband until their retirement in 1991. She was also employed as a real estate agent at the former Johnson Real Estate Company in Lewiston, NY; and worked part time at the former Mrs. B's Submarine Shop in Niagara Falls, NY. Sandra was an active member and former president of the Niagara Active Hose Women's Auxiliary Club, where she enjoyed competing against other fire departments in Waterball. In her leisure time, she enjoyed arts and crafts such as crocheting and doing yard work around the house.

Mrs. Dell is survived by her three children, Robert F. (Joanie Ferlito) Dell, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Keith Edward Dell of New Smyra, FL, Michael J. (Kathleen A. Martin) Dell of Niagara Falls, NY; six grandchildren, Jason Edward Dell, Sheena Marie Dell, Nicole (Brandon) Rush, Michelle (Anthony) Morreale, Patrick Dell and Jeffrey Dell; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Hunter, Jace and Hailey; four siblings, Marilyn Byrnes, Donna (Kirk) Kelley, Harvey (Chris) Huff, Jr. and Rick (Susan) Huff; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be greatly missed by her loving dog, Midnight. Sandra is predeceased by her grandson, Christopher Michael Dell; and her late sister, Beverley A. Alfonse.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th from 4-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Erwin Brese officiating. Inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Dr., Niagara Falls, NY 14304.

father, the bride wore a Chantilly
lace gown with nylon pleating
in front and back, the neckline
accented with a small pearl
collar. Her veil was three-quarterlength,
and she carried a white
prayer book mounted with an
orchid.
Miss Donna Huff was her sister's
rrjaid of honor and the
bridal attendants were Mrs.
Robert Hochadel, Miss Marjorie
Dell; and Miss Patricia
Lackl. Deborah Huff was junior
bridesmaid. They wore net
gowns in shades of pink, aqua,
orchid and yellow and carried
colonial bouquets of roses and
carnations.
Charles B. Stewart was best
man and ushers were Robert
Hochadel. Robert 'Peters and
John Nolle. Walter Moore was
junior bridegroom.

after a short illness.
A native of this city, Mr. Dell
was employed for 28 years as
a foreman at the Auto Lite Battery
Corp. For the last six years
he worked for the Town of Niagara
Highway Department He
was a member of the Exempt
Firemen of Niagara, Fire Company-
No. 1, Town,of Niagara
Lions Club, Buff Social Club
and the LaSalle Sportsman's
ciub.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian
M. Dell; a son, Robert F.
Dell; two daughters, Mrs.
Charles (Delores) Stewart and
Mrs. Richard (Marjorie) Garrow;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Dell; a brother, Russell
Dell and eight grandchildren,
all of this city.
Funeral services will be conducted
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at
the Otto Redanz Funeral Home
by Rev. William Devine. Burial
will Be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will be present
at the funeral home from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and
Tuesday.
