Joseph Winker Dies
Joseph J. Winker, 69-year-old retired
carpenter, of 11 Thomas street,
died yesterday after a long illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident
of this city.
Mr. Winker Is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Annie Winker; a son, Joseph
Winker, of Grand Island, and a
daughter, Mrs. Alice Boswell, of
Charleston, W. Va. Two grandchildren
also survive.
Services will be held at Cobler's
funeral home at 2 p. m. Sunday with
the Rev, Charles R, Osborn officiating.
Interment will be made In Memorial
Park cemetery

Joseph married Annie about 1903. Annie was born about 1881 in Canada; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

1. WINKER, Joseph Garnet was born on 14 Jul 1909 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; died on 24 May 1969 in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.
2. WINKER, Alice P was born on 23 Aug 1911 in New York; died on 5 Jun 2001 in Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.

Joseph Winkler, an old and well
known resident of the city, died Saturday
morning at 10:30 o'clock at his
home, No. 1717 Pine Avenue after an Iillness of five months, .during which
time he suffered greatly from liver
trouble. The deceased was in his
68th year. He was born in Wurten-
berg, Germany, and has been a resident
of Niagara Falls for the last 38
years. He was very well known In
this city being a member of the Masons
and Bricklayers Union for a number
of years.
Besides his wife he is survived by
three sons, Fred. George P.. and Jo-
seph G., and daughter, Mrs. George
L Gunzelman, all of this city.
The funeral services were held this
afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family
home and interment was made in Oakwood
cemetery.

Joseph married Louisa about 1870. Louisa was born in May 1838 in Switzerland; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
