She was a member of the Amvets Post 550 Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion, Eagles, Moose Lodge and the Sweet Adeline’s in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.     St. Peter's Episcopal Church was the setting Saturday (Dec. 12,1970) for the marriage of Miss Sandra J. Haseley and S. Sgt. Richard E. Lambert, U.S.Army,The Rev. Donald M. Peck officiated at the 3 p.m.ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. arid Mrs.Wilbur P. Haseley, 2244 Linwood Ave. Sgt. Lambert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Lambert, 1801 South Ave.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ice-blue crepe A-line gown with full Juliet sleeves stand-up collar, and Venise lace and pearl accents. A blue ring headdress secured her shoulder length veil and she carried a nosegay of white roses tipped with blue and white carnations. Mrs. Robert Lambert was matron of honor. Her A-line gown of azure blue was fashioned with lace and pearl trimmed Juliet sleeves and a stand-up collar. She wore a bow headdress trimmed with lace and pearls and carried a nosegay of blue, carnations.Mr. Lambert was best man for his brother. James Burrows, uncle of the bridegroom, and Robert Haseley were ushers.An evening reception was held at Frontier Fire Hall. The newlyweds will travel to Tacoma, Wash.,by car and will reside at Ft. Lewis, Wash., where Sgt. Lambert is stationed.

    Firefighters To Honor Capt. Haseley
    Capt. Wilbur Haseley of the Niagara Falls Fire Department will be honored by his fellow workers at a retirement dinner Thursday at the Crown and Anchor Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Capt. Haseley retired July 1 after more than 41 years with the department. Born in Sanborn in 1899, Capt. Haseley joined the fire department in 1923 and was appointed engineer in 1932. He became a captain in 1956 and has held that position since.
    As a member of the department, he has served under eight fire chiefs. His first fire was in 1923 at 11th Street and Buffalo Avenue. Capt. Haseley plans to visit his daughter in New York City and travel throughout the western part of the country. He and his wife live at 2244 Linwood Ave. They have four children and seven grandchildren.

    LEWISTON - Caroline A. (Steinbrenner) Haseley, of Fairchild Manor, formerly of Linwood Avenue, Niagara Falls, died Sunday (July 24, 1988) at the nursing home. She was born in Niagara Falls and lived there most of her life before moving to Lewiston this year. She was a production worker for several years at the former Brightstone Spring Water Co., Lewiston, and was a charter member and past president of the former Niagara Falls Grandmother's Club. She also was a past president of the Hammond Organ Society of Western New York and the recording secretary of the Salvation Army Home League for the past 16 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and former organist for its Sunday school. She was the mother of the late Alfred and Wilbur J. Haseley Jr. and sister of the late Gottlieb Steinbrenner, Emelia Ackerson and William Steinbrenner. Mrs. Haseley is survived by her husband, Wilbur P. Haseley of Niagara Falls; sons, Donald R. Haseley Jr. of Florence, S.C., and Gerald R. Haseley of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Sandra Anscombe of Collins Center; a brother, August Steinbrenner of Balston Spa, N. Y.; sisters, Rose Steinbrenner of Niagara Falls and Marie Hall of Fedhaven, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and 15 great - grandchildren. The family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, Michigan Avenue at 10th Street. The Rev. S. Cyril Hurnyak will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Zion Lutheran Church, Michigan Avenue at 10th Street. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery. Contributions to the Zion Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army will be acceptable as tribute.

    Mrs. Ottilie Haseley. 81-year-old, native and lifelong resident of Niagara county, died at her home. 1820 Pierce Avenue last night.     a lumber-mill knows as Steinbrenner
    and Fisher. He resided at

    Surviving are his wife, Herminia

    Mrs. Maria Steinbrenner, 66 years old, 1118 Pierce avenue, a well known resident of the north end of the city, died today at Mount St. Mary's hospital.
    Born in Germany. Mrs. Steinbrenner had resided In Niagara Falls for the last 50 years, during most of which time she was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. Cleveland avenue and Eighteenth street.
    She is survived by her husband. August Steinbrenner; seven children, Gottlieb J. August H., Jr.; Mrs. Wilbur Haseley, Mrs. Bernie Ackerson, Mrs. Ralph Daubney and Mrs. George Hall, all of this city; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers, Louis and John Mahanger, of Tacoma, Washington, and Casper Mahanger, and a sister, Mrs. Annie Fink, both of Germany.
    Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's church Friday at 3 pm. with the Rev. John Kuder officiating. The remains will be at the Otto Redanz funeral home, Michigan avenue and Tenth street, until Friday at 10:00 am.

    David Hasley, a highly respected resident of Walmore, and whose age was 82 years, died Wednesday night. A large family survive. The funeral will be observed on Sunday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Walmore.

Her parents were Samuel Maillefert (a cloth maker by profession) and his wife Wilhelmine Gefroy, who predeceased her daughter. Wilhelmine was Confirmed on Rogate Sunday [the Fifth Sunday after Easter, or April 27, 1845] in Buffalo by Pr. Grabau. She was married to Christ Wendt in Walmore on October 20, 1848. He died in 1873. She was Baptized in the French Church in Prenzlau by Pr. Paskel.
