February 26, 1945 - August 28, 2016


Nancy S. (Krell) Mack, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, died on Sunday August 28, 2016 in Buffalo General Hospital. She was 71. She was born in this city on February 26, 1945, a daughter of the late Arthur and Sue (Kuchy) Krell. Attending local schools, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Class of 1963.

After graduating, she worked for Jenss Department Store for several years. On July 16, 1966, she married Robert F. Mack in Niagara Falls. Together they celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage, raising two daughters, enjoying her four grandchildren and a great grandson.

She was an avid horse lover, enjoyed being an owner and trail riding with many friends she met throughout the years. She also enjoyed crafts and woodworking.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Robert) Behrens and Janelle (Daniel) Brydges both of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Jean (Arthur) Taylor of Lewiston and Peggy Krell of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Kyle (Fiancée Kelsey) Mack of Niagara Falls; Zachary Brydges; twin grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Brydges and a great grandson, Nathan Rafferty and her beloved fur baby. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Debbie Krell.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM in the Holy Family Parish of Jesus, Mary and Joseph (Our Lady of Mount Carmel site) 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. The interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s.
