    OBITUARY

    Lois A. Walck (nee Haseley)  went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 after a brave battle with COVID-19 at the age of 82.
    She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Clarence and Irma [Pokelwaldt] Haseley.
    She leaves behind her loving husband, Donald D. Walck;  her daughters Deborah Gillespie, Donna  Walck (James Goodwin), and Doreen Morris (Michael);  grandchildren Danielle Witt (Matthew),  Adrienne Gillespie, Nicholas Goodwin, Thomas Goodwin, Lucas Goodwin, and Riley Morris; great grandson Wolf Witt; sister Judith Brooks (late Richard); sister-in-law Suzanne Milleville (late Roy); brother-in-law Darrell Walck (Maureen); and many other relatives and friends.
    Lois was the sister of the late Jean Wynes; daughter-in-law of the late Edwin and Frances Walck.
    Lois and Don celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last November. They worked side by side running their farm, which for Lois included operating farm equipment and doing all the bookkeeping.
    She was a devoted lifelong Lutheran, was an exceptionally generous, kind person who loved spending time with her family. Lois and Don enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and traveling to Florida and Australia. She was an avid bowler competing locally and nationally, winning numerous trophies. Lois made friends wherever she went and will be remembered as gracious, always having a smile on her face and bringing happiness to all who knew her. She loved taking many photographs and sharing them. Lois was a beautiful mother and extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by everyone!
    Funeral Services will be held at a future date
    Memorials may be made in her name  to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or St. Peter’s Lutheran School, 6167 Walmore Rd, Sanborn, NY 14132.

    Edwin D. Walck, 94, a longtime farmer, died Monday (Dec. 17, 2001) in CrestWood Health Care Center after a brief illness. Walck was born in Wheatfield and attended St. James School in Bergholz. Before becoming a farmer, he worked as a machinist in Niagara Falls for 14 years. Most of his working years were spent operating farms in the Town of Niagara, Pendleton and Cambria. Among cash crops he harvested were wheat, corn, oats and hay. Walck moved to the health care facility three years from his home in Cambria. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sanborn, where he served as an elder and trustee. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau and Niagara County Extension. He and his wife of 59 years, Frances Haseley Walck, enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She died in 1994. Walck also had enjoyed hunting on land he owned in northern Pennsylvania. Survivors include two sons, Donald of Pendleton and Darrell of Cambria; a daughter, Suzanne Milleville of Wheatfield; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. Peter's Church, Walmore Road, Sanborn. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    TOWN OF CAMBRIA - Frances A.. (Haseley) Walck, 81, of Lockport Road, died Sunday (Jan. 2, 1994) at her residence, after a long illness.
    She was born in the Town of Niagara on Feb. 2, 1912, to Anthony and Hulda (Kroening) Haseley.
    She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sanborn. She loved cooking and gardening.
    She and her husband, Edwin D. Walck were married June 17, 1934. They would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this year.
    Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Donald Walck and Darrell Walck, both of Lockport; one daughter, Suzanne Milleville of Wheatfield; one brother, Harvey Haseley of Sanborn; one sister, Irma Haseley of the Town of Lewiston; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter' s Lutheran. Church, 6167 Walmore Road,. Sanborn, with the Rev. Ronald Majeroni :officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield.
    Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Entrance Fund, or to Niagara Hospice.

    HASELEY-Irma L. (Pokelwaldt) Age 91 of Buffalo, formerly of Wheatfield, was called peacefully in her sleep on January 8, 2007 at the home of her daughter, Judith Haseley Brooks in Buffalo. Born in the Town of Wheatfield on February 28, 1915 to the late Herman and Helena (Wittkop) Pokelwaldt. Member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bergholz, and was an accomplished seamstress and cook. Beloved wife of the late Clarence R. Haseley, who died December 25, 1985. Survivors include three daughters: Lois A. (Donald) Walck of Lockport, Judith Haseley Brooks and Jean Haseley Wynes, both of Buffalo; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also pre-deceased by four brothers: William, Irving, Edward and Norman Pokelwaldt; and a sister, Olivia Pokelwaldt. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Tuesday from 7-9 PM.
