    THE BRIDE was given In marriage by
    her father and was gowned in white silk
    organza and Aleocon lace encrusted with
    beads. It was styled with a portrait neckline,
    fitted bodice and long tapered sleeves.
    Her-bell-shaped skirt featured scissor
    pleats and a detachable scalloped train. A
    cluster of pearlized 'buds and crystal held ,
    her bouffant silk illusion veil.
    She carried a cascade of white carnations
    and pink sweetheart roses.

    MISS LORNA J. HASELEY was maid
    of honor.attired in a two-tone candlelight
    floor-length gown with a matching petal
    headpiece and cascade of gold and white
    chrysanthemums.
    Similarly attired in orchid-pink with

    Misses Margaret E. Stoelting, Nancy Fry
    and Marilyn Milleville.

    Wallace P. Haseley, age 97, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 after extended Hospice care, at his residence. Born in the Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY on August 3, 1910 to the late Albert and Anna (Ferchen) Haseley. He attended St. Peter's Lutheran School and the former Sanborn School. Wallace was employed as a millwright at General Abrasives for forty years, retiring in 1975. He was an active member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, were he served as a former financial secretary, was involved with the building of both the church and school, and was a grounds keeper at Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery. He enjoyed gardening, watching sports, was a mechanical repairman and all around handyman, who always enjoyed his family and especially his grandchildren. Survivors include six children: Marlene (Bernhard) Langhart of Long Island, Lorna (Wayne) Wentzel of Michigan, Roger W. (Linda) Haseley, Willard (Sherry) Haseley, Wilfred (Sharon) Haseley all three of Bergholz, and Florine (Karl) Wilkins of Maine; 6 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren;a brother, Marcus (Lizzie) Haseley of the Town of Lewiston; sister, Lydia Stoelting of Wheatfield; three sisters in law: Gladys Haseley, Althea Haseley and Mathilda Stoelting; and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Cordia (Stoelting) Haseley on October 19, 1940;five brothers: Norman, William, Richard, Benjamin and Albert Haseley; and a sister, Esther Beutel. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach on Friday at 10:30 A.M. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Road and Luther Street. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.     Cordia Haseley Was lifelong resident of Bergholz
    BERGHOLZ - Cordia (Stoelting) Haseley, of Stoelting Street, died Thursday (May 14, 1987) at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. She was 70. She was born at her homestead in Bergholz and was a lifelong resident of the hamlet. Mrs. Haseley enjoyed baking and decorating special cakes for the community. She was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Survivors include her husband, Wallace Haseley; sons, Roger, Willard and Wilfred Haseley, all of Bergholz; daughters, Marlene Langhart of Long Island, N.Y., Lorna Wentzel of Michigan and Florine Wilkins of Maine; a brother, Arthur Stoelting of Bergholz; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Erwin Stoelting and Lorina Milleville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road. The Rev. Stephen P. Roehrs will conduct services at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Luther Street and Niagara Road. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.     Albert P. Haseley Dies at 70 Years
    SANBORN, Feb. 6-Albert P. Haseley, 70 years old, husband of Mrs. Anna Ferchen Haseley, died yesterday at the family home in the Saunders Settlement road.
    Mr. Haseley was a farmer all his life and was actively engaged in operating his farm until ill health prevented about a year ago. Previous to this he had taken an active interest in Sanborn village affairs. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore and was formerly active in its organizations.
    Besides his wife, Mr. Haseley is survived by seven sons, Norman, Marcus, Wallace, William, Richard, Benjamin and Albert, all of Sanborn: two daughters, Lydia Haseley and Mrs. Irwin Beutel, of Sanborn; three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters, all of this vicinity.
    Funeral services will be held from the family home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward A. Grabau will officiate and interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.

    A native of Bergholz, she lived in the Sanborn area most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her husband, Albert P. Haseley, predeceased her.
    She is survived by seven sons, Norman Haseley of Niagara Falls, Marcus, William Benjamin and Albert Haseley, all of Sanborn, Wallace and Richard Haseley , both of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Stoelting of Niagara Falls; 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the rev. Paul F. Wittenberg officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn from 7 to 9 P.M. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday.
    Contributions to Lutheran Vespers are acceptable as tribute, the family said.

    Sanborn. N.Y., Jan. 20.- On Wednesday afternoon was found the body of Wm. A. Hasley at his home in Walmore. From all appearance Mr. Hasley had been dead since last Saturday. The neighbors failing to see him about broke into his home and found his body on the bed. He was fully dressed and it is supposed that he died from asphyxiation. The Funeral was held from the home of Philip Haseley on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. He is survived by three sons.

    Mrs. Maria Haseley, 85 years old, died Saturday at her home in Sanborn. She was the widow of the late William F. Haseley.     Mrs. Anna D. Ferchen, 61 years old, wife of John Ferchen of Bergholtz, died at the family home Thursday night. Mrs. Ferchen was born in Bergholtz, and lived there all her life. Besides her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Albert Haseley, Mrs. Albert Milleville, and Mrs. Albert Dubois; four sons, Henry, John, Philip and Edward Ferchen of Bergholtz; and three brothers, Henry Voelker of Bergholtz, Fred Voelker of Chicago and Philip C. Voelker of LeValley, Canada, survive. The funeral will be held from the late home at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and a half hour later from the Grabau Lutheran Church at Bergholtz. Burial will be made in Bergholtz.

    Bergholtz Woman Dies at 85 Years

    BERGHOLTZ, Jan. 13 - Mrs. Emilie Camann, 85, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julius Stoelting. of this village. She was born in the town of Wheafield and had resided there all her life. Besides the daughter, she is survived by seven sons, Charles, of Tonawanda. William and John, of Niagara Falls, Frank. Albert. Edwin and Harry, all of this village; one sister, Mrs. Henry Witkop, of Pekin. 32 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 pm. from the Stoelting home and at 2:30 from the Holy Ghost Lutheran church. The Rev. John Kuchenbecker will officiate and interment will be in Holy Ghost cemetery.
