    Albert H. Haseley, age 87 of Wheatfield, was called to his heavenly home unexpectedly, after a brief illness on Thursday, November 22, 2007 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born in the Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY on April 16, 1920 to the late Albert and Anna (Ferchen) Haseley. He was united in marriage to Althea E. Walck on August 9, 1947. Albert was a World War II Air Force veteran, serving in England and Germany and earning the rank of Corporal. He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Service Medal, European-African Middle Eastern Service Medal and the Victory Medal. He was employed at the Kimberly Clark Company and Carborundum Company, retiring in 1983. Albert was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he served on the Board for Parish Education, was a Trustee, Elder and member of LLL, member Sanborn Fire Company Exempts, Wheatfield Seniors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Survivors include his wife; five children: Dale Haseley of Houghton, NY, Linda (Ron) Stevens of Wheatfield, Barbara (Vincent) Flow of Kendell, NY, Janet Haseley of Brockport, NY, Joan (Stephen) Amico of Williamsville; five grandchildren: Laura (Christopher) Smith, Mark Stevens, Katie (fiancee Adam Godlove) Flow, Lisa Flow, Vincent Flow; two brothers: Marcus (Lizzie) Haseley of Sanborn and Wallace Haseley of Wheatfield; a sister: Lydia Stoelting of Wheatfield and sister-in-law: Gladys Haseley of Lewiston.     WHEATFIELD —
    Althea E. (Walck) Haseley, age 86, of Wheatfield, was called peacefully in her sleep, to her heavenly home on Monday, January 7, 2013, while at the Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Erich and Eleanor (Stoelting) Walck.
    Althea was a 1943 graduate of LaSalle High School, and later in life was employed at the Bon-Ton Department Store. She was a devoted Christian, wife and loving mother, raising five children. Althea was a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, in Bergholz, where she served on the Altar Guild, spent time with the quilters and enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.
    Althea was predeceased by her husband, Albert H. Haseley on November 22, 2007. They were united in marriage on August 9, 1947; two sisters, Loraine (Winston) Moeller and Eleanor June (Marvin) Werth; and one brother, Gilbert (Shirley) Walck. Survivors include five children, Dale Haseley of Sanborn, Linda (Ron) Stevens of Wheatfield, Barbara (Vincent) Flow III of Kendall, NY, Janet Haseley of Brockport, NY and Joan (Stephen) Amico of Williamsville, NY; a brother, Albert (Helen) Walck; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Haseley and Lydia Stoelting; two brothers-in-law, Winston Moeller and Marvin Werth; loving grandmother of Laura (Christopher) Smith, Mark Stevens (Melissa Gerhardt), Katie (Adam) Godlove, Lisa (Brad) O'Connor and Vincent (Melissa) Flow IV; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Annette Smith, Alex Godlove and Sarah O'Connor; and several nieces and nephews.

    of the Ward road, and Mr. Albert

    of the Saunders Settlement road,
    was solemnized at the Holy Ghost
    Lutheran church, here, on Saturday,
    August 9, at 3:30 o'clock with
    the Rev. John Kuchenbecker officiating
    at the double ring ceremony..
    The church was decorated
    with palms and baskets oi yellow,
    orchid, and white gladiolas and a
    wedding bell decorated with larkspur,
    gladioli, and white satin ribbon.
    Mrs. Lester Wurl and Mrs. Marcus,
    Haseley sang. "The Twenty-
    Third Psalm," and "Jesus Savior
    Pilot Me," accompanied by Mr. Carl
    Koenke at the organ.
    The bride, who was given In marriage
    by her father; was attractively
    attired in a gown of white
    embroidered net over satin with a
    satin bodice. The shadowed neckline
    was trimmed with seeded beads.
    The full skirt ended in- a long
    graceful train. Her long veil, trimmed
    with lace, fell from a tiara
    of orange blossoms. She carried
    a bouquet of white roses and baby
    breath tied with white satin ribbon-
    and streamers.
    Miss Loralne Walck. sister of the
    bride, was maid of honor. She wore
    a gown of green marquisette and
    carried a bouquet of yellow roses
    and white baby breath tied with a
    a green ribbon.
    Jane Stocking was flower girl. She
    wore a gown of white net over green
    satin tied with green ribbons. Her
    bouquet of yellow roses and white
    baby breath was also tied with a
    green ribbon. She received a heartshaped
    gold bracelet with engraved
    lnitials from the bride.
    The bridesmaids were Mrs. Gladys
    Haseley and Miss Joan Stoeltlng
    who were similarly attired in yel-
    low marquisette and carried yellow
    roses, and orchid baby breath tied
    with orchid ribbon. The other two
    bridesmaids, Mrs Helma Heuer and
    Miss Lois Hassan, wore orchid mar-
    quisette and carried yellow roses
    and orchid baby breath tied with
    yellow ribbon. The bride presented
    her attendants with heart-shaped
    lockets and earrings
    Mr. Benjamin Haseley, brother of
    the groom, was the best man. the
    ushers were Mr. Gilbert Walck and
    Mr Chester Haseley. The groom's
    gift to his bride was a string of
    pearls.
    The bride's mother wore a brown
    and white dress and the grooms
    mother was attired in navy blue.
    They wore corsages of roses and
    carnations.
    A reception was h e l d for 225
    guests at the Bergholtz Community
    hall. The bride's table, at which
    covers were laid for 36. was centered
    with a four-tiered wedding cake
    with a miniature bride and groom.
    For traveling, the bride wore a
    beige dress with brown accessories
    and corsage of yellow roses and baby
    breath. After their return they
    will be at home In the Ward road.

    Albert P. Haseley Dies at 70 Years
    SANBORN, Feb. 6-Albert P. Haseley, 70 years old, husband of Mrs. Anna Ferchen Haseley, died yesterday at the family home in the Saunders Settlement road.
    Mr. Haseley was a farmer all his life and was actively engaged in operating his farm until ill health prevented about a year ago. Previous to this he had taken an active interest in Sanborn village affairs. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore and was formerly active in its organizations.
    Besides his wife, Mr. Haseley is survived by seven sons, Norman, Marcus, Wallace, William, Richard, Benjamin and Albert, all of Sanborn: two daughters, Lydia Haseley and Mrs. Irwin Beutel, of Sanborn; three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters, all of this vicinity.
    Funeral services will be held from the family home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward A. Grabau will officiate and interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.

    A native of Bergholz, she lived in the Sanborn area most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her husband, Albert P. Haseley, predeceased her.
    She is survived by seven sons, Norman Haseley of Niagara Falls, Marcus, William Benjamin and Albert Haseley, all of Sanborn, Wallace and Richard Haseley , both of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Stoelting of Niagara Falls; 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the rev. Paul F. Wittenberg officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn from 7 to 9 P.M. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday.
    Contributions to Lutheran Vespers are acceptable as tribute, the family said.

    One of the prettiest weddings of the
    season was solemnized at Bergholtz
    on Sunday afternoon, June 14, at the
    Holky Ghost church when Miss Elea-
    nor Stoelting, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Albert Stoelting, was united in
    marriage to Erick Walck, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Albert Walck of Sanbornm,
    the Rev. J. R. Kuchenbecker officiat-
    ing.
    Promptly at twelve o'clock to the
    strains of Lohengrin's wedding march
    played by Walter Urtel, the bridal
    party entered the church which was
    attractively decorated with ferns,
    peonies, and cut flowers. The bride
    looked charming in a gown of white
    satin back crepe, trimmed with lace
    and pearls and carried a shower
    bouquet of roses and lilies of the val-
    ley. Her veil was trimmed with
    Dutchess lace in coronet style and was
    embroidered. The maid of honor,
    Miss Louise Walck, sistrer of the
    groom, was dressed in peach color
    crepe, carried pink roses and smilax
    a wore a picture hat.
    The bride's maids, Miss Ruth Du-
    Bois wore a yellow crepe dress and
    carried roses and ferns. Miss a.
    Jagow wore a pink crepe dress and
    carried roses and ferns. Miss Cora
    Obenhaus was dressed in yellow
    crepe and carried roses and ferns.
    They all wore picture hats of silk
    maline to match their gowns. Little
    Alice Stoelting, sister of the bride
    was glower girl and was dressed in
    white crepe. She carried pink and
    white sweet peas in a white basket.
    The ushers were Ben Devantier, Ed-
    ward Mueller, A. Stoelting, H. Stoelt-
    ing, F. Stoelting and I. Stoelting.
    The double ring service was used.
    A solo was given by Mrs. Eleanor
    Ferchen Williams, with Miss Adelia
    Ferchen at the organ. Benediction
    followed the ceremony. a receiption
    was held at the home of the groom
    the decorations being pink and white,
    about 150 guests were present.
    The bride's table was set for 40 and
    was centered with a large wedding
    cake, roses, peonies and ferns. The
    young couple received many beautiful
    gifts. Out of town guests were pre-
    ent from Electra, Texas, Ill.,, Tona-
    wanda, Cambria and Niagara Falls.

    Sanborn. N.Y., Jan. 20.- On Wednesday afternoon was found the body of Wm. A. Hasley at his home in Walmore. From all appearance Mr. Hasley had been dead since last Saturday. The neighbors failing to see him about broke into his home and found his body on the bed. He was fully dressed and it is supposed that he died from asphyxiation. The Funeral was held from the home of Philip Haseley on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. He is survived by three sons.

    Haseley-At Sanborn, N. Y., Saturday, March 16, 1929, Maria Haseley, 85 years of age, wife of the late William P. Haseley. Funeral services will be held from the home on Wednesday afternoon at 2 0'clock and from St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore at 2:30. The Rev. Edward Graubau (sic)will officiate. Interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.

    Mrs. Anna D. Ferchen, 61 years old, wife of John Ferchen of Bergholtz, died at the family home Thursday night. Mrs. Ferchen was born in Bergholtz, and lived there all her life. Besides her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Albert Haseley, Mrs. Albert Milleville, and Mrs. Albert Dubois; four sons, Henry, John, Philip and Edward Ferchen of Bergholtz; and three brothers, Henry Voelker of Bergholtz, Fred Voelker of Chicago and Philip C. Voelker of LeValley, Canada, survive. The funeral will be held from the late home at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and a half hour later from the Grabau Lutheran Church at Bergholtz.     Albert Stoelting Dies at Bergholtz
    Funeral of Well Known Resident on Thursday Afternoon.
    BERGHOLTZ, July 22.-Albert Stoelting, 59, died Monday at his home on the Sy road after a year's illness. He had been a well known carpenter for many years. He built the Holy Ghost church in 1907, of which he was a very active member, and was elected a deacon by that congregation many times. He was born in this village and lived here all his life. He was well known throughout Niagara county. He is survived by his wife, Anna Jagow Stoelting, four sons, Herbert, Arnold, Theodore and Alvin and three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Mueller, Mrs. Erick Walck and Alice, all of this village, five grandchildren and two brothers, Julius Stoelting of this village, and Herman Stoelting of North Tonawanda, and one sister, Mrs. John Strassburg, of Sanborn, besides a large circle of friends and relatives. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house and half an hour later at the Holy Ghost church in Bergholtz. Burial will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery The Rev. John Kuchenbecker will conduct the services.
