Albert E. Milleville of Wheatfield died Sunday (March 7, 2004) in Mount View Health Care Facility, Lockport. He was 85.
Born in Wheatfield, he graduated from LaSalle High School in 1936 and married the Elizabeth Ziemendorf on July 19, 1947.
He served as a Wheatfield assessor during the 1950s and was employed at Moore Business Forms for 27 years. He also worked for Summit Park Mall for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
Mr. Milleville was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he served as president of many committees. He had a great interest in Christian education and evangelism. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Nancy of Sanborn; two sons, Dan of Arnold, Md., and Jon of Wheaton, ILl.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

WHEATON, IL — Elizabeth W. Milleville, age 94,was called to her heavenly home on June 23, 2012 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living Center in Wheaton, IL. Born on August 13, 1917 in Wheatfield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rheinard and Alma (Wendt) Ziemendorf.

Elizabeth graduated from North Tonawanda High School and worked for Wendt's Dairy. She married Albert Milleville on July 19, 1947 and was a member of St James Ev. Lutheran Church in Bergholz for more than 60 years, serving as a Sunday School teacher and volunteered in many other areas of the church. Elizabeth was also a 4-H leader and also worked for Hens & Kelly Department Store. Her interests included gardening, reading, and spending time with and caring for family, She was disappointed that she was not able to attend college to become a teacher, so she imparted on family, friends, and acquaintances the importance of education and lifelong learning.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William Ziemendorf; sister, Jane Ziemendorf; husband, Albert; and daughter, Nancy. Elizabeth is survived by children, Dan (Marcia) of Arnold, MD, and Jon (Cathy) of Wheaton, IL; a brother, Lloyd Ziemendorf; grandchildren, Shawn (Diane) , Nathan (Kristina), Andrew (Emily), Laura, and Ken; great-grandchild, Beata; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered as a Christian, a cookie-maker, a gardener and a caretaker.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Sunday, July 1, 2012, from 6:30-9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 11 AM at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, in Bergholz. Interment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. MILLEVILLE – Rosina Magdalena Milleville (nee Ferchen), 92, of the Town of Wheatfield, Tuesday (Sept. 7, 1976) at the Grand Island Nursing Home. Mrs. Milleville was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and a life member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Wife of the late Albert Milleville, who died in 1931, she is survived by two sons, Gerhard W. and Albert E. Milleville, both of the Town of Wheatfield; seven daughters, Mrs. Paul (Vera) Ferchen, Mrs. Elmer (Anna) Moll, Mrs. Arnold (Louise) Wendt, Mrs. Gerhard (Sophia) Schultz and Miss Rose E. Milleville, all of the Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Paul (Mabel) Klemm of Woonsocket, So. Dakota and Mrs. Howard (Judith) Stroble of Cardington, OH; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Haseley of the Town of Lewiston.
The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held in St. James Lutheran Church Friday at 1:30 P.M., the Rev. John H. Crilley will officiate. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. John Milleville

John Milleville, 80 years old, one of the pioneer settlers of the town of
Wheatfield, dropped dead at his home in Bergholtz, a suburb of this city,
yesterday afternoon. Heart disease is attributed as the cause of death.
The deceased was born in Germany and came here 55 years ago, locating in
Wheatfield. Three daughters, Mrs. William Schmidt, Mrs. Christian Ferchen
and Mrs. Fred Devantier; three sons, John, William and Albert Milleville,
all of Bergholtz; three sisters, Mrs. Ferdinand Pfuhl, Mrs. William Haseley
and Mrs. Albert Walck and four brothers, August, William, Ferdinand and
Albert Williams all of the town of Wheatfield, survive. The funeral will be
held from the late home tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and a half hour
later from the Grabau Lutheran church at Bergholtz. Burial will be at
Bergholtz.

Mrs. Anna D. Ferchen, 61 years old, wife of John Ferchen of Bergholtz, died at the family home Thursday night. Mrs. Ferchen was born in Bergholtz, and lived there all her life. Besides her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Albert Haseley, Mrs. Albert Milleville, and Mrs. Albert Dubois; four sons, Henry, John, Philip and Edward Ferchen of Bergholtz; and three brothers, Henry Voelker of Bergholtz, Fred Voelker of Chicago and Philip C. Voelker of LeValley, Canada, survive. The funeral will be held from the late home at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and a half hour later from the Grabau Lutheran Church at Bergholtz. Burial will be made in Bergholtz.

Hold Funeral of Bergholz Woman, Last Rites for Mrs. Ziemendorf Largely Attended
BERGHOLZ. July 31. - The passing of Mrs. Wilhelmine Ziemendorf, who died after a weeks illness, last Thursday afternoon at her home on the Buffalo-Falls boulevard near the Ward road at the age of 69 years, removes one of the most popular residents of this vicinity, whose life was in every respect an exemplification of Christianity and civility. Mrs. Ziemendorf was born in Germany on November 25th, 1859, but came to this country when seven years of age, and lived in Michigan with her parents for some time, but later came to this vicinity, and has resided here for many years. Being of a kind and loving character ,she not only endeared herself to her own family, but also to every one with whom she came in contact. Mrs. Ziemendorf had been in good health until. about a week before her death, when she was taken ill with a stroke. The funeral services were held from her late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and at 3:00 o'clock from the St. John's Lutheran church, the Rev. Walter Thiemecke officiating.
Interment was In the Holy Ghost cemetery on Niagara street, this village.
The deceased is survived by two sons; Albert of St. Johnsburg, Reinhard
of the Ward road, near this village, two daughters, Mrs. Adeline Gombert
and Miss Minnie Ziemendorf at home and two sisters, Mrs. Albertine
Elliot of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Fred Kamp of Romeo, Mich. The floral offerings
were many and beautiful.

The funeral of William Wendt was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence on Lockport avenue and a half an hour later at St. Paul's church in Martinsville. The services were conducted bv Rev. William T. Schmidt and were largely attended. Burial was in the St. Paul's cemetery. The pallbearers were: A. W. Babel, John Ziehl, August Martin, John Jagow, August Errick and Charles Fehrman, residents of Martinsville and the Town of Wheatfield.
