Mark J. Haseley, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 20, 1949, the son of the late Marcus A. and Lizzie D. [Pfohl] Haseley. Mark attended St. Peter's Lutheran School and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was a dump truck driver with Haseley Trucking for over 20 years and with Mawhiney Trucking. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, bowling and golfing. He was an avid college basketball fan and wine maker. Mark is survived by his wife, Marilyn C. [Jaremko] Haseley, they were married on March 11, 2000; two daughters, Jamie L. (Donald) Graham of East Rochester, NY and Kelly (Wiley) Smith (USN) of Wahiawa, H; two step daughters, Priscilla Schultz of Newfane, NY and Jackie (Dan Cavaretta) Ozzimo of Tonawanda, NY; six grandchildren, Mitchell, Macie, Ty, Kylie, Brianna and Melissa, two brothers Rev. Ronald M. (Joanne) Haseley and Frederick W. (Christy) Haseley, his former wife Carol Sumera. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and cousins. His family will be present on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Corky Spitler officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Marcus A. W. Haseley, a life long resident of Sanborn, was called to his eternal home on Sept.10, 2010 at Fairchild Manor, Lewiston, NY. He was 101. Mr. Haseley was born in the Town of Lewiston, NY on Jan 23, 1909, He was the son of Albert and Anna (Ferchen) Haseley and attended local schools. Mr. Haseley was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sanborn where he served as President, Trustee, School Building Committee member, Cemetery Committee Chairman, and various other positions. He was also a member of the church choir for more than 50 yrs. He was also a member of the Historical Society of North German Settlements in Western New York. In his youth, Mr. Haseley worked on the family farm until he began working at J. J. Haseley & Sons produce farm in Sanborn. He marketed and delivered produce to the Niagara Falls & Clinton-Bailey Markets for over 50 years before retiring in 1980. He was the oldest exempt member of the Sanborn Fire Company (82 yrs.). In his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, and was known for his roadside produce stand. He was an avid golfer, watched hockey, football, and baseball and enjoyed pheasant and deer hunting in his earlier years. He married his wife of 69 yrs, the former Lizzie D. Pfohl on Jan 12, 1939. Lizzie died in 2008. Survivors include sons, Rev. Ronald M.(Joanne) of Greensburg, IN; Frederick W. (Christy) of Roseville, CA; Mark J.(Marilyn) of Ransomville; sister Lydia Stoelting of Wheatfield. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He was brother to the late Norman, Wallace, Esther Beutel, William, Richard, Benjamin, and Albert. The family will be present Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn, 5893 Hoover Road. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6167 Walmore Road, Sanborn at 11 AM. with Rev. Bruce M. Gamache officiating. Lizzie D. Haseley, formerly of Sanborn , NY, was called to her eternal home on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Fairchild Manor, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY. She was 93.
The former Lizzie Pfohl was born in the Town of Lewiston on September 23, 1915, she was the daughter of John and Eleonore [ Fahrenwald ] Pfohl, and was a lifelong resident of Sanborn where she attended local schools. Mrs. Haseley was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she was active in the church choir for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid and other Circles within the church, visiting and sending cards to the sick and shut-ins, and making quilts for Lutheran World relief. She worked for J.J. Haseley & Sons, and accompanied her husband Marcus to the Niagara Falls Farmer's Market for over 40 years. She also had worked at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church Rectory, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY for 19 years.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years Marcus A., sons Rev. Ronald M. [ Joanne] of Greensburg, IN; Frederick W. [ Christy] of Roseville, CA; and Mark J. [ Marilyn ] of Ransomville, sister-in law, Lydia Stoelting of Wheatfield; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Lizzie was the sister of the late Minnie Kroening, Sigmund, John, Martha Haseley, Louis, Verone Haseley, Max, and Eleonore Craft.

Lizzie Dorothea Pfohl was born in the Town of Lewiston on September 23, 1915, to Johannes and Eleonore [ Fahrenwald ] Pfohl.
She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sanborn, NY. Lizzie was baptized on October 3, 1915 and confirmed on Apr 21, 1929.
On January 12, 1939 Lizzie & Marcus Albert Haseley were united in marriage. They were blessed with three children: Ronald M., Frederick W., and Mark J.
She was a lifelong resident of Sanborn where she attended local schools. She worked for J.J. Haseley & Sons, and accompanied her husband Marcus to the Niagara Falls Farmer's Market for over 40 years. She also had worked at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church Rectory, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY for 19 years.
Lizzie was active in the church choir for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid and other Circles within the church, visiting and sending cards to the sick and shut-ins, and making quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
On Saturday, November 8, 2008, while a resident of Fairchild Manor, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY, Lizzie was called to be with her Lord. She was 93 years old.

MARKWORTH - Franklyn Robert Entered into eternal life suddenly, June 25, 2011, beloved husband of the late Alice Ann (Smith) Markworth; cherished father of Carol Ann Sumera (Thomas) and Sharon Lee Dailey (Michael); loving grandfather of William Patrick Boody, Jamie Lynn Graham (Donald), Kelly Marie Haynes and Shannon Lee Boody; proud great-grandfather of Ty Russell Haynes, Mitchell John Graham and Macie Rae Graham; treasured companion of Suzanne Boorom. Franklyn retired in 1985 after 38 years with Borden Food Company as District Manager. Former Officer of Crouch Dowd VFW Post, Rochester, NY. Former member of both the Rochester and Buffalo Grocery Manufacturers Representatives. Also a member of the Buffalo Food Industry Sales Executives Organization. No prior visitation. Albert P. Haseley Dies at 70 Years
SANBORN, Feb. 6-Albert P. Haseley, 70 years old, husband of Mrs. Anna Ferchen Haseley, died yesterday at the family home in the Saunders Settlement road.
Mr. Haseley was a farmer all his life and was actively engaged in operating his farm until ill health prevented about a year ago. Previous to this he had taken an active interest in Sanborn village affairs. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore and was formerly active in its organizations.
Besides his wife, Mr. Haseley is survived by seven sons, Norman, Marcus, Wallace, William, Richard, Benjamin and Albert, all of Sanborn: two daughters, Lydia Haseley and Mrs. Irwin Beutel, of Sanborn; three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters, all of this vicinity.
Funeral services will be held from the family home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward A. Grabau will officiate and interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.

Sanborn-Mrs. Anna A Haseley, 94, of 2208 Saunders Settlement Road died in DeVeaux Manor Nursing Home, Niagara Falls, Tuesday (Feb 1, 1977)
A native of Bergholz, she lived in the Sanborn area most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her husband, Albert P. Haseley, predeceased her.
She is survived by seven sons, Norman Haseley of Niagara Falls, Marcus, William Benjamin and Albert Haseley, all of Sanborn, Wallace and Richard Haseley , both of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Stoelting of Niagara Falls; 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the rev. Paul F. Wittenberg officiating.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn from 7 to 9 P.M. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday.
Contributions to Lutheran Vespers are acceptable as tribute, the family said.

(He was the son of Ferdinand Pfohl and Auguste nee Milleville. Wife died in June 1947. Was a lifelong and very faithful member. Served many years on church council, sang in choir, assisted the pastor by reading sermons in services occasionally. In 1915, was a member of building committee for the present church building; good health all his life. Was in church last Sunday of his life. Survivors: 4 sons, Sigmund, John (in WI. is an A. L. C. pastor, ordained in 1928). WALMORE June 21 - The funeral of Mrs John Pfohl, 70, of the Walmore Road was held held Tuesday afternoon at St Peter's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband John and nine children, Rev. John Pfohl of North Freedom. Wisc. Sigmund Pfohl, Niagara Falls. Mrs. Philip Kroening. Mrs Jonas Haseley. Mrs. Marcus Haseley, all of Sanborn. Louis, Max, Eleonore and Mrs. Mervin Haseley, at home. The bearers were Hubert Pfohl, Rudolf Walck, William Walck, Philip Haseley, Eric Haseley, and Harvey Haseley. The flower bearers were Rudolph Kroening, Herman Kroening, Esther Kroening and John Haseley. The Rev. Edward Grabau officiated. Burial was in Walmore cemetery.
