WHEATFIELD - Alice B. (Retzlaff) Walck, age 87, of Wheatfield, was called peacefully to her heavenly home, to be with her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2012 at her residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY, on July 22, 2012, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lily (Pfuhl) Retzlaff. Alice attended St. Peter's Lutheran School in Walmore and was a 1943 graduate of LaSalle High School. She was employed at the former Bell Aircraft and later at the Carborundum Company - Bonded Abrasives division in Niagara Falls, until her retirement in 1983. Alice was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Wheatfield, where she was with the St. Peter's Quilters. She was also a member of the Ransomville Seniors and enjoyed gardening, flowers and traveling. Survivors include her brother, Kenneth (Dianne) Retzlaff of Wheatfield; sister-in-law, Lois Retzlaff; eight nieces and nephews, Debra (Ted) Sheehan, Brian (Sandra) Retzlaff, Gary Retzlaff, Randy Retzlaff, Sandra (Steven) Lang, Carol (Leonard) Binns, David (Allison) Retzlaff and Dale (Lisa) Retzlaff; twenty great-nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Walck, on December 1, 1994. They were united in marriage on February 5, 1972. Also predeceased by a brother, Willis Retzlaff. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Gamache' on Friday at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Walmore Road. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Rudolf A. Walck, brother of
the bridegroom, was best man.
Kenneth Retzlaff, brother of

were ushers.
A late afternoon reception
was held at Portage Post,
American Legion Hall.
On their return from a
wedding trip to Washington,
D.C. and the southern states
Mr. and Mrs. Walck will make
their home in Walmore Road.

WHEATFIELD ..;. Lily A. (Pfohl) Retzlaff, 84 of Lockport Road, died Friday (June 17, 1988) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Town of Lewiston.
A Wheatfield native, she lived in the town all her life.
She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Walmore Road.
She was the wife of Arthur Retzlaff, who died in 1981, and sister of the late Henry Pfohl.
Mrs. Retzlaff is survived by a daughter, Alice Walck of the Town of Lewiston; sons, Willis S. Retzlaff and Kenneth A. Retzlaff, both of Wheatfield; a sister, Ella Mueller; a brother, Adolph Pfohl both of Wheatfield; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Stephen P. Roehrs. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions to the church are acceptable as tribute.

Retzlaff Rites Held
Walmore, N. Y.-Funeral services for Edward F. Retzlaff, of Walmore, N. Y., were held Tuesday from the home at 2 P.M. and at St. Peter's Lutheran church at 2:30. Burial was in the Walmore Cemetery. The bearers were Rudolph Retzlaff, Edward Walck, Alfred Walck, Howard Walck, Arthur DuBois, and Melvin Walck. Honorary bearers included Willis Retzlaff, Chester Walck, Emily Walck and Ruth Beutel.
Mr. Retzlaff was born in Germany in 1862. He came to this country in 1880 and has since resided in Walmore. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Auguste Retzlaff, one son, Arthur and two daughters, Mrs. August Walck and Mrs. Felix Walck. He also left 11 grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. A. Walck
Prominent Sanborn Woman Laid to Rest Wednesday.
SANBORN, Feb. 7. - The funeral of Mrs. Albertina (sic) Walck, age 82, widow of the late Frederick Walck, was held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p. m. from St. Peter's church at Walmore. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward Retzlaff, and three sons, Fred, John and Benjamin Walck, all of Walmore. Mrs. Walck was born in Germany and came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Zimmerman. when only ten weeks old, and has resided in this vicinity all her life. The bearers were William Devanticr, Jr., August Walck, Felix Walck, Elmer Kroening, William Walck Jr., and Alton Wendt. Rev. Edward Graubau (sic) officiated and burial was at Walmore cemetery.

WALCK RITES HELD
Body of Bergholtz Man Borne to Grave by Grandchildren BERGOLTZ, Dec. 27. - Funeral services for John Walck, who died suddenly Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Helena Zimmerman, at Niagara street, were held Tuesday afternoon from the home of Mrs. Zimmerman at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from St. James church on Rohr Street. The Rev. Otto Bruss officiated.
Mr. Walck is survived by five daughters, Mrs. August D. Mueller, Mrs. Apolonia (sic) Blumreich, of Niagara Falls, Amalia (sic) Pfuhl, of Walmore. and Mrs. Helena Zimmerman and Mrs. Lydia DeVantier, of this village, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The deceased was a retired farmer and had resided in this vicinity all his life. His two sons, John Walck and Christ (sic) Walck, died a number of years ago. Burial was in St. James cemetery. The bearers were all grandchildren: Edward and Arthur Zimmerman, Theodore and Edwin Walck, Edward Mueller and A. Pfuhl.
