Richard, ..... son of Mr. Edwin Kroening of the Saunders Settlement road passed away at Niagara Falls, Memorial hospital on Saturday, besides his father he is survived by a sister Gladys and a brother Harold, at home. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Walmore cemetery. Rev. Edward Granbau (sic) officiated.

EDWIN H. KROENING
SANBORN - Edwin H. Kroening, 72, of 2849 Saunders Settlement Road was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial Medical Center, Niagara Falls, Monday (Feb. 11, 1974) after suffering an apparent heart attack at work. Mr. Kroening Was a native of the Town of Niagara and had lived in Sanborn for the last 50 years, where he had owned and operated Kroening Garage on Route 31 for the last 49 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore; a charter member of the Sanborn Lions Club and an honorary member of the Sanborn Volunteer Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Haseley Kroening; two sons, Harold and Gilbert Kroening; and a daughter, Mrs. Benjamin (Gladys) Haseley, all of Sanborn. He was the father of the late Miss Sharon L. Kroening. Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore. The Rev. Harold L. Baum will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will be present at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc., Sanborn, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday.
Members of the Sanborn Volunteer Fire County, will meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church memorial fund, the family said.

Niagara. Falls, Feb. l6-Mrs. Edna Kroenig (sic), 28 years old, of Sanborn, died here today in Memorial Hospital of pneumonia. She yesterday gave birth to a son, Richard, who survives.
Mrs. Kroenig (sic) was a native of this city and moved to Sanborn with her husband, Edwin Kroenig (sic), about six years ago. Besides her husband and ..... son, she is survived by two other children, Harold and Gladys; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Haseley, and a brother, Herbert Haseley. Niagara Falls. Services will be held at the home and at the Lutheran Church at Walmore on Friday. Burial will be at Walmore.

Mrs. Kroening Is Buried at Walmore
SANBORN, Feb. 20.-The funeral of Mrs. Edna Haseley Kroening, aged 28 years, wife of Edwin Kroening of the Saunder's (sic) Settlement road, who died at Niagara Falls Memorial hospital on Tuesday, which was held from her late home on Friday at 2 p. m., and 2:30 p. m. from St. Peter's church at Walmore, was one of the largest ever held in this community. A wonderful profusion of beautiful floral tributes bespoke of the high esteem in which she was held by all who knew her. The bearers were cousins and included Messrs. Martin Pfohl, Edwin Haseley. Segmund (sic) Mackensen, William Kroening, Segmund (sic) Pfohl and Henry Thiele. Rev. Edward Graubau (sic) officiated. Burial was in Walmore cemetery.

Karl married PFUHL, Anne Maria Albertine on 13 Feb 1896 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. Anne (daughter of PFUHL, Ferdinand Wilhelm and MILLEVILLE, Marie Auguste) was born on 2 May 1871 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 15 Jan 1955 in Town of Cambria, Niagara County, NY. Daughter of Ferdinand Pfohl and Auguste née Milleville. A lifelong member here; was married in 1896 to Carl Kroening who died in 1901, leaving her with 3 small sons; the eldest son John died in 1916 at age of 19 from Typhoid; after 1922 she made her home with her son Elmer, east of Pekin; suffered a number of light strokes since Sept. 1954 and was bedridden for 4 months (Sept. 16, '54, till day of death; fell peacefully asleep. Survivors: 2 sons (Elmer and Edwin); one brother, Mr. John Pfohl; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

MRS. HASELEY DIES
Cleveland Avenue Woman Passes In Hospital after Long Illness.
Mrs Lillian Haseley, widow of Albert Haseley, died in Mt. St Mary's Hospital at 5:45 clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of several months. She was 58 years old. Mrs. Haseley. who had resided here many years and had a wide circle of friends, is survived by a son, Herbert A. Haseley, of this city; two grandchildren, Gladys and Harold Kroenlng, of Sanborn, and two sisters, Elizabeth Klemer. of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Carl Musall. of Birnamwood. Wis. The funeral will be held from the family home at 2 p. m. Thursday, with services at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, Cleveland avenue and Eighteenth street, at 2:30 p. m.. the Rev. Gustave Zeimer officiating. Burial will be in Walmore cemetery.

Sanborn Resident Dies
SANBORN, Mar. 24.-August Kroening died today at the family home here. Funeral services will be held from the home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from St. Peter's church at Walmore. HASELEY RITES HELD
Saunders Settlement Road Man Laid to rest in Walmore Cemetery.
SANBORN, Jan. 19.-Funeral services of William C. Haseley, who died Thursday, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family home in the Sanders (sic) Settlement food and at 2: 30 from St. Peter's church at Walmore. The Rev. Edwin Graubau (sic) officiated and interment was in Walmore cemetery. The bearers were Edwin Kroening, Edwin Haseley, Siegmand (sic) Mackensen, Jr., Herbert Haseley, Norman and Clarence Wienke. The flower bearers were Christine Haseley, Elizabeth Haseley, Helen Mackensen and Elizabeth Mackensen. Mr. Haseley was one of the best known farmers of the vicinity and his loss is mourned by a circle of friends and relatives.
