Marilyn Loge passed away April 15th at the age of 90. She was born and raised in New York, where she met her husband, Howard. They were happily married for 70 years.
Settling in Western New York, they raised their family of four children. Marilyn and Howie enjoyed their retirement years in Grand Junction.
Marilyn was an RN, a talented artist, and loved gardening and animals, especially dogs. People were drawn to her sweet spirit and kind heart. She was very active in her faith, serving in Christian Women's Ministries and Stonecroft Ministries.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; daughter, Judy (Jack); sons, Dan (Ellen), Jim (Teresa) and Dave (Jill); along with 10 grandchildren. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Hilkert and Howard Johnson; and her brother, Ron Nelson.
A celebration of her life will take place at Canyon View Vineyard Church's Chapel at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 28. The address is 736 24 1/2 Road, Grand Junction.
