I. A. Beutel Dies at 49 In Sanborn
SANBORN-Irwin A. Beutel, 49, of Saunders Settlement Road, died at his home today (Oct. 4, 1961) following a heart attack, Mr. Beutel was born here on June 3, 1912, son of the late William and Amelia Retzlaff Beutel and had lived in this vicinity all his life. He was employed by the Kimberly Clark Corp. in Niagara Falls for 32 years and was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Esther Haseley Beutel; a son, Marvin Beutel at home; a daughter, Mrs. James Doebler of Brunswick, Maine and two brothers, Edwin and Walter Beutel of Sanborn. Friends may call at Pike and Jones Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and at 3 p.m. at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Mrs. Esther Beutel, 58, died
Friday (Jan. 29, 1971) in Strong
Memorial Hospital in Rochester
after a lengthy illness.
She had lived most of her
life in Saunders Settlement
Road in Sanaborn until 1968 when
she moved to Watervilet, N.Y.,
and Washington D.C., before
moving to 51 Furman Road,
Nairport, N.Y., in 1970.
Mrs. Beutel had been
employed by the Niagara-
Wheatfield School District for
three years.
Survivors include her mother,
Mrs. Anna Hasely of Sanborn;
one son, Marvin I. Beutel of
Nairport; one daughter, Mrs.
James (Carol) Doebler of
Upper Marlboro, Md.; seven
brothers, Norman of Lewiston,
Marcus, William, Benjamin,
and Albert, all of Sanborn and
Wallace and Richard of Niagara
Falls; one sister, Mrs. Alvin
(Lydia) Stoelting of Niagara
Falls; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Monday at the Pike
and Jones Funeral Home, 5893
Hoover Road, in Sanborn. The
Rev. Donald G. Rehkoph will
officiate. Burial will be in St.
Peter's Cemetery, Walore, N.Y.

DOEBLER - Ida (nee Lindhurst) Doebler, 90, of 114 Zimmerman St., North Tonawanda, Saturday (Oct. 8, 1971) after a brief illness. Mrs. Doebler was a member of St. Peter's American Lutheran Church, Priscilla Guild and the Women of the Church group. Beloved mother of Miss Lois Doebler and Walter Doebler, both of North Tonawanda and the late Arthur and Elmer Doebler; grandmother of six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Friends received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, where services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Donald Rehkopf officiating. Interment St. Matthew's Cemetery.

Schenk street. He was stricken
while at the dinner table and died

attributed to heart disease.
For many years Mr. Bohlman conducted
a grocery store at Schenk
and Falconer streets. He was a
member of St. Peter's Lutheran
church at Bryant and Thompson
streets.
He leaves a wife, Martha; thee
daughters, Mrs. Edward McQuinn,
Mrs. Elmer Doebler and Elva; son,
Harold, Kenmore; two grandchidren
and four sisters, Mrs. Herman Bach,
Mrs. John Roloff, Mrs. Charles
Schulmeister and Fred Vorpahl,
North Tonawanda.
Services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2 o'clock from the resi-
dence and at 2:30 from the St.

Memorial park.

Hung Self in Barn While Family Was Away From Home - Is Found by Young Son

Sanborn. June 10. - Hanging to a beam in his barn, by a piece of clothesline, the body of William Beutel was found about two o'clock yesterday afternoon by the dead man's youngest son, and when the nearest neighbors - summoned by tho terrified youngster - had arrived, the body was still warm, but all attempts at resuscitation failed. Beutel was about 45 years old and resided with his family, on the Lockport road, near Walmore. He had been confined in the Buffalo State hospital on two different occasions, but since his return home two years ago, his mental condition has appeared normal. Mrs. Beutel and her oldest son were in Niagara Falls when the deed was committed. Deceased is survived by his wife and four sons - Edward, Rudolph, Walter, and Erwin - all of the town of Lewiston; one brother, John Beutel of Cambria, and one sister, Mrs. William Wendt of Sanborn, He was a lifelong resident of this township and was a member of the Walmore Lutheran church.

Albert P. Haseley Dies at 70 Years
SANBORN, Feb. 6-Albert P. Haseley, 70 years old, husband of Mrs. Anna Ferchen Haseley, died yesterday at the family home in the Saunders Settlement road.
Mr. Haseley was a farmer all his life and was actively engaged in operating his farm until ill health prevented about a year ago. Previous to this he had taken an active interest in Sanborn village affairs. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore and was formerly active in its organizations.
Besides his wife, Mr. Haseley is survived by seven sons, Norman, Marcus, Wallace, William, Richard, Benjamin and Albert, all of Sanborn: two daughters, Lydia Haseley and Mrs. Irwin Beutel, of Sanborn; three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters, all of this vicinity.
Funeral services will be held from the family home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward A. Grabau will officiate and interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.

Sanborn-Mrs. Anna A Haseley, 94, of 2208 Saunders Settlement Road died in DeVeaux Manor Nursing Home, Niagara Falls, Tuesday (Feb 1, 1977)
A native of Bergholz, she lived in the Sanborn area most of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her husband, Albert P. Haseley, predeceased her.
She is survived by seven sons, Norman Haseley of Niagara Falls, Marcus, William Benjamin and Albert Haseley, all of Sanborn, Wallace and Richard Haseley , both of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Stoelting of Niagara Falls; 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the rev. Paul F. Wittenberg officiating.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn from 7 to 9 P.M. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday.
Contributions to Lutheran Vespers are acceptable as tribute, the family said.
