    SANBORN — Alice M. Wolf, age 87, of Sanborn, was called to her heavenly home on May 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in the Town of Niagara, NY, on October 15, 1923 to the late Hubert and Elsie (Walck) Haseley. She was united in marriage to Edwin W. Wolf on September 27, 1947. He entered into rest on March 23, 1986.

    Alice was employed at the former Bell Aircraft and Wurlitzer Company during war time, and later at the Fairchild Nursing Home in Lewiston, as a kitchen aid for 17 years. She was a life long member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Walmore, and active with the Ladies Aid, and was a member of the Sanbornite Seniors. Alice enjoyed traveling and working in the yard. She enjoyed her three dogs, especially Mollie.

    Survivors include her daughter, Susan F. Wolf of Sanborn; four grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) Stines, Melinda (Ron) LePine, Jessica Wolf and Jason Wolf; five great-grandchildren, Daniel Stines, Alexander Stines, Alexis Aughlman, Nicholas LePine and Marrissa Stoddard; daughter-in-law, Laurie Wolf of Niagara Falls; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Bruce Wolf; and two brothers, Kermit and Franklin Haseley.

    Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Gamache', on Monday at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Walmore Road in Wheatfield. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Note no visitation on Sunday, due to Mother's Day. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, or charity of one's choice.

    Mrs. Wolf 's Rites Slated
    NORTH TONAWANDA-Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Stang Wolf, 71, of 2260 Jagow Road, Wheatfield, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fretthold Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church by Rev. Robert Lehman. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Wolf died Wednesday (April 18, 1962) at Sisters of Mercy Hospital, Buffalo. She was a member of St. James Church and a former member of its Ladies Aid Society.
    Surviving are five sons, Benjamin P. Wolf, Wheatfield, Maj. Arthur Wolf, Glen Burnie, Md., Edwin Wolf, Sanborn, John Wolf, Wheatfield, and Kenneth Wolf, stationed at White Sands, N. M. with the Navy; three daughters, Mrs. Chester (Alma) Campbell, Mrs. Francis (Louise) Dish, both of the Town of Tonawanda, and Miss Lena Wolf, at home; a sister Miss Hulda Stang, this city; and 11 grandchildrenÉ [the rest is missing].

His wife, the former Elisie Walck, died in 1966.     Mrs. Elisie Haseley
    SANB0RN-Mrs. Elisie Haseley, 73, of 2174 Saunders Settlement Road, this community, died Wednesday (March 9, 1966) at Ransomville General Hospital after a long illness.
    Born in Walmore, June 5, 1892, she was the daughter of Philip and Marie Walck. She lived in this area all her life.
    She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, a charter member and first president of the Ladies Aid Society when it was formed about 30 years ago.
    Mr. and Mrs. Haseley observed their 50th wedding anniversary in May of 1963.
    Survivors include her husband, Hubert R. Haseley; two sons, Franklyn, Kenmore. N.Y., Kermit, Sanborn; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Wolf, this community; a sister, Mrs. Hulda Haseley; two brothers, Philip and Paul Walck, both of this community; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
    She was the sister of the late Felix and Agatha Walck. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church by Rev. Donald G. Rehkopf. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Walmore. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.

    ST. JOHNSBURG, N. Y.. Feb. 26 - Charles A. Stange, 82, died yesterday afternoon at his home, in the Falls boulevard. Town of Wheatfield. Born In Germany, Mr. Stange had lived In Wheatfield since he was four years old. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Wulf, Mrs. David Ferchin
    and Miss Hulda Stange ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, William and August, and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Oswald and Mrs. Gustav Broecker, all of the Town of Wheatfield. Last rites will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. at the home and at 2:30 at St. John's church. The Rev. Walter Thiemicke will officiate. Interment will be in St. John's cemetery.

    Haseley-The death of August J. Haseley occurred on Monday, Sept. 17th, at his home at Sanborn, N. Y. He was well known in this vicinity, coming to Sanborn from Germany at the age of seven years. He was also a veteran of the Grand Army of the Republic. He is survived by four sons, Henry, Philip and Emil of Niagara Falls, N. Y., and Hubert of Sanborn, and three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Loge of Sanborn, and Mrs. Chas. Gandt of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Wm. Broecker of North Tonawanda; also 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Thursday at 2 p. m. and at the St. Peter's Lutheran church of Walmore, N. Y., at 2:30 p. m. Rev. Edward Grabau will officiate. Burial in Walmore cemetery.

    WALCK-Died, at his home on Lockport Road, July 23, 1929, Philip Walck, aged 67 years. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Zeckser, Mrs. Edward W. Haseley, Mrs. Hubert R. Haseley, and three sons, Felix, Philip C. and Paul, all of Sanborn. Funeral services from the home Thursday at 2 o'clock, standard time, and 2:30 from Walmore church. Burial in Walmore

    Philip Walck of Walmore Is Dead
    Philip Walck, 67 years old, died today at the family home in the Lockport road. Funeral services will be held from the home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 standard time from St. Peter's Lutheran church, Walmore. The Rev. Edwin (sic) Grabau will officiate. Interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.
    Mr. Walck had resided in Walmore all his life and was one of the best known residents of the vicinity. For 19 years he was a trustee of St. Peter's church and for 28 years was treasurer of the Cooperative Fire Insurance company of Bergholtz. He was active in Walmore affairs and his loss will be mourned by a wide circle of friends and relatives. He is survived by six children, Mrs. Herbert Zeckser, Mrs. E. W. Haseley, Mrs. E. WW. (sic) Haseley. Felix, Philip C. and Paul. all of Sanborn.
