Mr. Broecker was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, the Sr. Athletic Club, the Gratwick Hose Company, a member and past president of the Tonawandas Bowling Association, and former employee of Continental Can, retiring 7 years ago. He is survived by his wife Amalia, nee Werth; Two sons, Duane E., Schnectady, N.Y., and Eugene W., of West Lafayette, Ind., a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Marlene) Karpinec, Tonawanda. Six grandchildren, a sister Miss Stella Broecker, Hollywood, Fla., and a brother Wilbert Broecker, Tonawanda, The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver Street at Ward Road this evening from 7·9 p.m. and Thursday 2·4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held in St. Marks Lutheran Church Friday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Thomas K. Spahn will officiate. Interment in St. Marks Lutheran Church. If so desired memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rose, nee Haseley; father of Hubert A. of North Tonawanda, Wilbert W. of Tonawanda and Stella Broecker of North Tonawanda. He is also survived by five grandchildren and a brother, August of Pennsylvania. Surviving are two sons, Hubert A. and Wilbert, and a daughter, Miss Stella Broecker, all of the Tonawandas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a brother, Hubert Haseley of Sanborn. WERTH – Augusta A. Werth, 94, of the Town of Amherst, Tuesday (November 16, 1976) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Werth was the oldest living member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Mollie) Broecker of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Wilbert (Hilda) Demler of the Town of Amherst; three sons, Edward H., Raymond A., and Erwin H. Werth, all of North Tonawanda, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Christian Broecker
Christian Broecker, seventy-seven years old, died last night at his home at No. 78 Washington street after a prolonged illness. Mr. Broecker was born in Germany. He came to America thirty-seven years ago and had lived in North Tonawanda during the past twenty-five years. He is survived by his wife, three sons, William, August and Gustav Broecker; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Buchhardt and Mrs. Fred Gath, all of North Tonawanda; one brother, William Broecker of St. Johnsburg; one sister, Mrs. Christine Hannemann of North Tonawanda; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence and at 2:30 o'clock at St. Mark's church on Washington street. Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate and burial will be in the Frieden's cemetery at Sawyer's Creek.

Haseley-The death of August J. Haseley occurred on Monday, Sept. 17th, at his home at Sanborn, N. Y. He was well known in this vicinity, coming to Sanborn from Germany at the age of seven years. He was also a veteran of the Grand Army of the Republic. He is survived by four sons, Henry, Philip and Emil of Niagara Falls, N. Y., and Hubert of Sanborn, and three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Loge of Sanborn, and Mrs. Chas. Gandt of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Wm. Broecker of North Tonawanda; also 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Thursday at 2 p. m. and at the St. Peter's Lutheran church of Walmore, N. Y., at 2:30 p. m. Rev. Edward Grabau will officiate. William J. G. Werth, 80 years old, a well known resident of North Tonawanda,
died at the DeGraff Memorial hospital on Tuesday night after a lingering illness. The body was removed to the home of his son, William Werth, at No. 60 Jackson avenue. Mr. Werth was born in Germany and had lived here over a half a century, He is survived by two sons, Hubert Werth of Lockport and William Werth of Gratwick; three daughters, Mrs. William Volchow of Lockport, Mrs. Joseph Roulley of Niagara Falls and Mrs. Fred Berg of Burt, and one brother, John Werth of Germany. The
funeral will be held from the Werth home on Jackson avenue at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and a half hour later from St. Mark's church on Washington street, the Rev. Martin Human officiating. Burial will be in Bergholtz.
