    Notes:

    Jeremy W. Myers, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Friday. May 3, 2019.  He was 28.  He was born in Lewiston, New York on November 14, 1990, a son of Richard and Carol (Buerger) Myers also of Sanborn. 
    Jeremy was employed by Aavid Niagara as a machine operator.    As a small child, began his love of working with his hands, he was especially mechanically gifted.  His interests were motorsports; building and dirt biking.   He loved his close family and friends immensely and was a wonderful uncle to four beautiful nieces.
    In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Richard D. Myers, II (Isabel) of Silver Springs, MD; Jason Charles Myers of Sanborn; his sister, Kaylie Ann Myers of Buffalo; maternal grandparents, William E.  and Helen (Haseley) Buerger of Sanborn;  his four nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Ruth (Dean) Myers.
    The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17th after 4:30 PM  in the Forestview Church,1250 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, where it's Pastor Ronald Maines will conduct memorial services at 5:30 PM.  Dinner will directly follow the services at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall of the church.  All are welcome to attend.  The Lane Funeral Home, Inc., is handling the arrangements.

    SANBORN -
    Ruth D. Myers, of Sanborn, NY, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2014, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Lewiston, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 10, 1915, the daughter of Chester and Maude (Subbera) Dean.
    Mrs. Myers graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1933. Her first employment was with The Niagara Searchlight Company in Niagara Falls, NY. After her marriage in 1942 and her husband's return from WWII, she became a homemaker and mother. She later went on to work as a bookkeeper in the Food Services Department of the Niagara-Wheatfield Central School District, retiring in 1972. Mrs. Myers obtained her real estate license and worked in the Lockport business office of Paul Robshaw Gallery of Homes until 1981. A very special part of her career was to join the Foster Grandparent Program at BOCES in Sanborn, NY, where she loved and helped many children and made many wonderful friends from 1981 to 1993. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Pekin.
    She was the wife of the late Herbert C. Myers who died in March of 1963. She is survived by four children, Nancy (Dennis) Davidson of Punta Gorda, FL, Robert (Nancy Diegelman) Myers of North Port, FL, Richard (Carol Buerger) Myers of Sanborn, NY, and Roger (Julie Pringle) Myers of Sanborn, NY; eight grandchildren, Brandon and Ryan Davidson, Cortney, Jennifer, Rick, Jason, Jeremy and Kaylie Myers and Ashley Pringle; five great-grandchildren, Shila Myers, Kalie Rae and Joshlyn Zoladz and Mason and Jake Davidson.
    The family will be present on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be on Monday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to the Hope United Methodist Church, PO Box 304, Sanborn, NY 14132. Interment will be at North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.

    William "Bill" BuergerAge 86 of Wheatfield, NY, went to his heavenly home, surrounded by his loving family, on December 7, 2022. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 3, 1936, son of the late William H. and Josephine (Williams) Buerger. Married 64 wonderful years (May 17, 1958) to his loving wife Helen (Haseley) Buerger. Bill was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz where he served as a trustee and volunteered for many years. He graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1955. Bill worked for Zimmerman Builders, Town of Wheatfield Highway Dept., for various construction/carpentry builders and retired in 1994 from the Town of Wheatfield Sewer Dept (sewer foreman). Bill was a 9 year member of the Air Force Reserve and served in active duty during the Berlin Crisis. He was a long standing member of the Wheatfield Republican Club and committeeman. Bill enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, family gatherings, traveling to visit out-of-town family and was a helpful carpenter/handyman to many. Survived by his dear wife; four children, Carol (Richard) Myers, Robert (Kimberly) Buerger, Brenda (Rodney) Wise, Bruce (Kristine) Buerger; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was brother to the late Loraine (Robert) Taylor and Helen (Gordon) Voelker.He was grandfather to the late Jeremy Myers. Friends may call on Friday, December 16 from 12-2pm at St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Niagara Falls, 14304. Service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Randy Kaminska officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church memorial fund and/or Caring Friends. Arrangements were made with the DuBois Funeral Home.

    WHEATFIELD - Josephine E. Buerger, 78, of the Town of Wheatfield, died Sunday (Sept. 30, 1984) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. A former resident of Bergholtz (sic), she was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Women of the Church. She was the wife of the late William H. Buerger, who died in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Taylor of Connecticut and Mrs. Gordon (Helen) Voelker of West Virginia; a son, William E. Buerger of the Town of Wheatfield; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Alice) Beutel and Mrs. Alfred (Martha) DeVantier of Sanborn and Mrs. James (Esther) Holladay of Florida; and a brother, the Rev. Walter Williams of Ohio. She was the sister of the late Arthur and Melvin Williams. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home. 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at St. James Lutheran Church.     Harvey H. Haseley, of Sanborn, NY, entered into eternal rest and his heavenly home on Saturday March 1, 2003, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89 years.
    He was born on May 29, 1913, in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, the son of Anthony and Hulda [ Kroening ] Haseley. At an early age, he was raised by the Fahrnwald Family, Fred, Rose and Phillip, Emma, on the family farm, in Sanborn, now, the Power View Farm, well known as a prize winning farm for raising Registered Holstein Cattle, grain and hay, where he has worked all his life. He was a Charter Member of the Niagara County Milk Producer's. Mr. Haseley was a lifetime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walmore.
    He was predeceased, by his wife of 67 years, Elvira M. [ Fedeler ], who died November 11, 2002.
    Surviving are his children, Lois Burkhardt [ late Sam ] , of Lockport, Niagara County, NY; Helen Buerger [ William ] of Sanborn; Roy Haseley [ Eileen ] of Sanborn; Margaret Ewald [ Ralph ] of Ransomville; Howard Haseley [ late Linda ] of Sanborn; Karen Hicks [ Donald ] of Bluff City, TN; Nelson Haseley [ Barbara ], of Sanborn; a sister Irma Haseley, of Sanborn; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    He was the brother of the late Edwin Haseley, Hilda Wendt and Frances Walck.
    The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 7- 9 P.M. Thursday and 1 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. Friday.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, with the Rev. Bruce Gamache, officiating.

    Elvira Margaret [ Fedeler ] Haseley, entered into eternal rest and her heavenly home on Monday, November 11, 2002, at home surrounded by her loving husband and family at the age of 92 years.
    She was born on March 12, 1910, the daughter of Frederick and Martha [ Gienapp ] Fedeler, in Colton, SD, at the age of six her family moved to Waverly, IA, where she attended parochial school and was confirmed on April 5, 1925. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly, graduating in 1930.
    Mrs. Haseley moved to the Sanborn, NY, area in 1930, where she taught at the St. Peter's Lutheran School, from 1930 to 1935. She married her husband Harvey Haseley on June 29, 1935, and has helped run the family farm known as Power-View Farm, with her husband and family.
    Mrs. Haseley was a longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walmore, where she was the church organist for 30 years.
    Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Harvey Haseley; her children, Lois Burkhardt [ late Sam ] , of Lockport, Niagara County, NY; Helen Buerger [ William ] of Sanborn; Roy Haseley [ Eileen ] of Sanborn; Margaret Ewald [ Ralph ] of Ransomville; Howard Haseley [ late Linda ] of Sanborn; Karen Hicks [ Donald ] of Bluff City, TN; Nelson Haseley [ Barbara], of Sanborn; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; five sisters, Hilda Fedeler; Florence Fedeler; Martha Graeser [Virgil ]; Lorena Arns [ late Victor ] from Waverly, IA; Edna Polenz [ Donald ], of Sierra Vista; AZ; her sister-in-law Irma Haseley, of Sanborn; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Norman [ Wanda ] Fedeler.
    The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 1 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. Wednesday.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, with the Rev. Bruce Gamache, officiating.
