WILLIAMS - Melvin, at his home 3903 Daniels Rd., Wilson, Friday, Dec. 30th, 1977. Surviving are his wife Elizabeth; 3 sons, Douglas M. of Torrance, California, Thomas D, of Ransomville, and Timothy E. of Lockport, 3 daughters, Patricia Hartz of Lockport, Nancy Volls and Elizabeth Bodie, both of Ransomville, 1 brother Rev. Walter Williams of Bradenton, Florida; 4 sisters, Alice Beutel of Sanborn, Josephine Buerger of Bergholtz, Esther Holliday of Charlottsville, Va., and Martha DeVantier of Sanborn, and 18 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Arthur Williams. Friends may call at THE HAMILTON & CLARK Funeral Chapel, Wilson, where the family will be present Saturday and Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral services at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Northridge, Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David Musall officiating. Interment in the Lutheran Cemetery at Northridge. Memorials to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Building fund gratefully accepted.

Elizabeth "Betty" J. Williams of Lockport, NY was called to be home with the Lord on May 23, 2015. She was 99 years old. Born on October 3, 1915 in the Town of Wheatfield, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Magdelena Hoffmeister Jagow. Elizabeth was a retired Elementary School Teacher and taught at St. Andrews, Pekin, Trinity Lutheran and St. Peter, North Ridge. She loved to teach children to read and sing. She was Co-owner and Marketer of Williams' Acres Dairy & "Own-Grown" Produce Farm in Ransomville. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, North Ridge, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was also a friend of Concordia Lutheran Church. Elizabeth was a Literacy Volunteer and enjoyed wood carving, gardening, sewing, fishing, and hunting, and loved to cook and bake. Her greatest passion was Bible Study, prayer, and sharing her Christian Faith. In 1977, Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Melvin C. Williams. She was also predeceased by her son Thomas (Lorena) Williams, and two granddaughters, Brenda Brawn (Tom) Cervi and Lauries Volls (Mike) Fournier. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Nancy) Williams, Patricia (Gary) Johnston, Nancy (Richard) Reak, Timothy (Donna) Williams and Elizabeth "Betsy" (Carl) Bodie; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Victor (Betty) Jagow and sister, Marilyn (Robert) Winter and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters. Friends may call on Thursday, May 28 from 3-8PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC, 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29 at 11AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Road, Lockport, NY. Interment in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Edward H. Williams, 53, Lockport Road, Dies
SANBORN, N Y., Oct. 18. - Edward H. Williams. 53, of the Lockport road, died yesterday at the, Buffalo General hospital. Mr Williams was a son of the late Gustave and Christine Williams. He was born In the Lockport road and had resided on the same farm all his, life. For the last 15 years he had conducted a gasoline service station at the corner of the Lockport and Ward roads. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's church at Walmore. N. Y. Mr. Williams U survived by the following children: Mrs Edwin Beutel and Mrs. Alfred DeVantier of Sanborn. N. Y., Mrs. William Buerger, of Bergholz, N. Y.: Mrs James Holladay, of Dariem. Conn., Arthur and Melvin Williams, of Sanborn, and the Rev. Walter F Williams, of Defiance, Ohio; one stepson, John Weingartner of North Tonawanda. and three brothers, Albert. Hugo and Robert Williams, all of Lockport He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter. Mrs William Buerger. Bergholz, Saturday, October 20, at 2 pm., and at 2:30 o'clock at St. Peter's church. Walmore. The Rev. Edward H Grabau will officiate. Interment will be In Walmore cemetery.

NORTH TONAWANDA-Fred W. Jagow, 79, of 2350 Jagow Road, Town of Wheatfield, died Tuesday (May 30, 1967) at his home after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholtz. Surviving are four sons, Howard A. and Erwin D. Jagow of the Town of Wheatfield. Victor Jagow, Thurmont, Md., and Rev. Frederick Jagow of Warren, Mich.; four daughters. Mrs. Hugo (Evelyn) Gade of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Melvin (Betty) Williams of North Ridge, Miss Elfreda Jagow,Town of Wheatfield and Mrs. Marilyn Warblow of North Tonawanda; 27 grandchildren and 19 great .grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fretthold Funeral Home and until 10 a.m. Friday. Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Rev. Albert Bahr officiating. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.
