LEXINGTON, SC — Gerald Brawn, 78, of Lexington, SC, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at his home, after a lengthy illness. Born September 1, 1934, he was the son of Sidney and Margaret (Mathews) Brawn.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; daughters, Barbara (Pete) Dio of Leesville, SC and Bethany (Brian) Ross of Bonita Spring, FL; son, Robert (Eleanor) of Leesville, SC and stepchildren, Wendy Bogard of Batesburg, SC, Wanda Brown of Leesville, SC, and Biff Brown of Belton, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brothers-in-law, Bruce, Larry and Robin (Joann) Gilbert of Lexington, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Brenda (Tom) Cervi; three brothers, James (Bernee), David (Karen) and Sidney Jr.; a sister, Shirley (Frederick) Lampman and brother-in-law, Burton Gilbert.
A military memorial service will be held at the National Cemetery in Columbia, SC on August 2. A celebration of his life will take place at his home immediately following the memorial service. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Tri-County, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210; or to Paralyzed Veterans of America, PO Box 933, Wilton, NH 03086-0933.

The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Williams,
Ransdmville. The
bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Brawn
of Orlando; Fla.
"The new Mrs. Brawn was
attended by her sister, Miss
Nancy Williams. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Fredericks Lampman,
Mrs. Thomas Williams,
Mrs. Richard Gorhan, Betsy
Williams,'sister of the bride,
and Miss Marci Beth Warblow.
James Brawn was his brother's
best man. Arnold
Drewes, cousin of the groom;
Douglas Williams and Thomas
Williams, brothers of the
bride, ushered guests to
their seats.
The newlyweds will make
their home in Orlando following
an Ontario honeymoon.
