Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore with The Rev. Harold L. Baum officiating. Interment in St Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Frances E. DeVantier
SANBORN - Mrs. Frances E. DeVantier, 73, of 6219 Ward Road, formerly of Lockport Road, died today (March 26, 1975) in Memorial Medical Center, Niagara Falls after a long illness.
She was a native of the Town of Wheatfield and had resided in the Walmore-Sanborn area all of her life. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Walmore. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. DeVantier, who died in 1968.
Mrs. DeVantier is survived by three daughters, Miss Virginia DeVantier, Mrs. Leonard (Mabel) Beutel, both of Sanborn, and Mrs. Melvin (Elaine), Pfohl, of Niagara Falls; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Esther) Wittkop of Niagara Falls and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Harold L. Baum will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home in Sanborn from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

WALMORE, June 29 - Palms
and Shasta daisies adorned the altar
of St. Peter's Lutheran Church,
Wa'more, for the wedding of
Mabel Louise DeVantier and Leonard
Herbert Beutel. Chaplain Eugene
Beutel, of Ft. Meade, Baltimore,
cousin of the bride, united in
marriage the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs William J. DeVantier, Lockport
Rd., Rt. 1, Niagara Falls, and
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph
beutel, Lockport Rd., Sanborn.
Given in marriage by her father,
th* bride wore a gown of Chantilly
lace and satin with pleated tulle
and iridescent sequins, illusion
neckline and a lace collar. The
bodice was fitted with a fully gathered
skirt of lace with inserts of
pleated tulle and cathedral-length
train. Her headpiece was a pill
box type hat of lace and tulle
trimmed with beading and a fingertip
scalloped illusion veil completed
the ensemble. She carried white
carnations, liry-of-thc-valley and orchids.
Elaine DeVantier, matron of
honor for her sister, wore a rainr
bow shade gown with portrait necklines
and the bodice was of white
lace over a colored slip with tulle
berthas. Coverskirts of lace revealed
a double skirt of tulle. . The
teadpiece was a bonnet effect of
pleated lace with tulle and. face
veils. She carried ai bouquet of
carnations.
The bridesmaids. Alice Retzlaff,
Carol Beutel and Mrs. LeVern
Hasely, were attired similarily and
carried heart-shaped bouquets of
carnations.
The bride chose Carolyn Mueller
lor her flower girl. "The Lord's
Prayer," and "Today, O Lord We
at Thine Altar Stand," were sung
l>y Paul Mchls. James Morgan was
oest man. Ushers were Kenneth
Wittkopp, Leonard Walck and
Philip Haseley.
The mother of the bride favored
a rose-color gown with white accessories.
White carnation corsage
completed her ensemble. The bridegroom's
mother selected blue with
while accessories and a corsage of
white carnations.
Paper wedding bells and fresh
flowers decorated the Berholtz
Firehall where the reception was
held for friends and relatives.
The bride chose for her going
away costume a blue suit with
white and pink accessories. After
a trip to the adirondack Mountains
and Thousand Islands, the ocuple
will reside in Lockport Rd.
