A lifelong resident of Sanborn, Wienke operated a farm on Saunders Settlement Road for over 50 years and was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Niagara County Police and Judges Association. He is survived by his wife, Edna (Pfohl) Wienke; two sons, Leonard Wienke of Sanborn and Dr. Wilfred Wienke of W. Virginia; a daughter. Mrs. Dennis (Edele) Wurl of Sanborn; a brother, Walter A. Wienke of Sanborn; a sister, Mrs. Hubert (Hilda) Ferchen of Tucson, Ariz.. and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore.     Edna M. (Pfuhl) Wienke, 89. of Heritage Manor of Niagara Falls, formerly of Sanborn, died Saturday (Dec. 2,1995), in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
    She was born on Feb. 12,1916, in 'Wheatfield, the daughter of Albert. and Ida (Haseley) ,Pfuhl. On Nov 8, 1929, she married Clarence E. Wienke. He died in January 1979
    A lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. In Wheatfield, Mrs. Wienke was, active in the Women of the Church. She was a member of the Sanbornite Senior Citizens and did volunteer work at local nursing homes.
    She enjoyed family life.
    Mrs. Wienke is survived by two sons, Leonard Wienke of Sanborn and Wilfred Wienke of Morgantown, W.Va.; a daughter, Edele Wurl of Sanborn, seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
    She was the sister of the late Albert Pfuhl and Martin Pfuhl.
    Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home 2436 Niagara Road. Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walmore Road, Wheatfield. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield . Memorials may be made to the church.

    Services for Edna M. Wienke, of Heritage Manor of Niagara will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6167 Walmore Road, Wheatfield.
    The former Edna Pfuhl, 89, died Saturday (Dec. 2, 1995) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
    The former Sanborn resident was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Women of the Church.
    Her husband, Clarence E., died in 1979.
    Survivors include two sons, Leonard of Sanborn and Wilfred of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Edele Wurl of Sanborn; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

    TOWN OF WHEATFIELD - Erwin C. Stoelting, 63, of 2403 Niagara Road, died Monday (Nov. 2, 1970) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of this community where he operated the Stoelting Machine Inc. since 1941. He was a member of the Bergholtz Volunteer Fire County, a past assistant fire chief of the company, a member of the Town of Wheatfield Business Association, Niagara County Volunteer Firemen's Association, a life member of the Western New York and the New York State Volunteer Fireman's Associations and a member of the Niagara County Fire Chiefs Association.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Ruth Stenzel; two, sons, Marvin E. of Sanborn, and Wayne C., of this community, a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Nancy) Wienke of Sanborn; and seven grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Stoelting; and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Milleville, and Mrs. Wallace Haseley, all of Town of Wheatfield.
    Friend's may call until noon Thursday at the Fretthold Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church by Rev. Albert W. Bahr. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery.

    STOELTING-STENZEL

    A very pretty wedding was solemnized
    last Saturday afternoon June first
    the Saint Johns Lutheran church on
    the Ward Road, Bergholtz, when Miss
    Ruth Stenzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Charles Stenzel of the Bufalo
    Boulevard was united to marriage
    Mr. Irvln Stoeltlng oldest son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Julius Stoeltlng of of this village
    the Rev. Walter Thlenucke officiating.
    Promptly at four thirty o'clock day
    light saving time the bridal party march-
    ed the church to the strains of the
    Wedding March which was played by
    teacher H. Huebner at the organ. The
    bride, who was given away by her fa-
    ther. looked beautiful In a white
    satin gown. She wore a tuele veil and
    carried a shower bouquet of white
    sweetheart roses, valley lillies and
    lax tied with white satin streamers.
    Miss M. Stenzel, slater of the bride, was
    maid of honor and looked lovely in
    a flesh color gown and carried a bou-
    quct of pink Klllarney roses and
    lax. Miss Lorona Stoeltlng, sister of the
    groom was brides maid and looked very
    charming in a Nile green gown. She
    caried Klllarney roses. Carl Stenzel,
    brother of the bride was usher and
    Arthur Stoeltlng. the grooms brother
    acted as best man. The groom and his
    brother came from the sacristy to the
    altar where the groom met the bride.
    After the ceremony a reception was held
    at the liome of the bride where a
    course chicken dinner was served
    to about thirty-five guests.
    Mr. and Mrs. Stoelting received many
    pretty gifts. After s short weding trip
    they will live on the Buffalo
    boulevard.

    SANBORN - Adolph G. Wienke, 95, of 2652 Saunders Settlement Road, died Saturday (Oct. 2, 1976) in Grand Island Manor after a long illness. He was born in Stateen, Germany, and came to this country and the Town of Wheatfield at the age of four. He moved to Sanborn in 1903. He operated a farm on Saunders Settlement for most of his life prior to retiring. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, and had served as a trustee of the church. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau.
    Survivors include two sons, Walter A. and Clarence E. of Sanborn; one daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Hilda) Ferchen, Wheatfield; one brother, Reinhard Wienke, Wheatfield; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Jagow of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Emma Haseley and Mrs. Esther Moll, both of Wheatfield, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Crilley officiating.     SANBORN-Mrs. Bertha A. Wienke, 83, of 2652 Saunders Settlement Road; died unexpectedly at her home Monday (Jun.12, 1967) after suffering a heart attack. She had been in ill health for the last year.
    Born in the Town of Lewiston March 20, 1884, she was the daughter of August and Auguste Hellert Haseley. She had been a resident at the Saunders Settlement address for the last 56 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walmore.
    Survivors include her husband, Adolph; two sons, Walter A. and Clarence E. Wienke, both of Sanborn; a daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Hilda) Ferchen, Niagara Falls, and a brother, Edward Hasley (sic) Niagara Falls; also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.     Walmore Farmer Called by Death
    WALMORE, May 12.-Albert A. Pfuhl, 57 years old, well known farmer, died yesterday at the family home here. Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time, and at 2:30 from St. Peter's Lutheran church, Walmore. Interment will be in Walmore cemetery. Mr. Pfuhl was born on a farm within a half mile of the place where he died and had resided here all his life. He is survived by his wife, Ida Pfuhl; two sons, Albert, Jr.. at home, and Martin, of Niagara Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Wienke, of Sanborn; three brothers, Ferdinand, John and Anton; and three sisters, Mrs. Carl Haseley, Mrs. William Devantire (sic) and Mrs. Anna Kroenig (sic), all of this vicinity.

    Lockport Road Man Laid to His Final Rest in Walmore Cemetery.
    SANBORN, May 16-Funeral services for Albert A. Pfuhl, aged 57, who died at his home on the Lockport Road on May 11, were held from the home on Sunday at 2 P. M. and from St. Peter's church at 2:30. The bearers were Erich J. Haseley. William DeVantier, Elmer Kroening, William Kroening, Jr., Sigmund Pfuhl, Herbert Pfuhl. Flower bearers were: Erwin Pfuhl Max Pfuhl, Max Haseley, Erwin Walck, Herbert Jagow, Herbert Ferchen, Alfred Haseley, Rudolph Walck, Chester Haseley. Service was conducted by Rev. Edward A. Graubau (sic) and Rev. Alfred Walck, of St. Paul, MN Burial was at Walmore cemetery.

    Charles A. Stenzel. 76. a lifelong
    resident of St. Johnsburz and and
    emplovc of the Buffalo Bolt company
    for the past 40 years, died sud-
    denly yesterday from a heart attack
    while at his place of employment.
    He retired as an employee of the
    company just before the war broke
    out but was called back as a guard
    at the Oliver street plant when the
    United States broke with Japan and
    Germany.
    Mr. Stenzel was a member of the
    St. John's Lutheran church. For
    more than 20 years he had served
    the church as an elder. He was also
    a member of the St. Johnsburg fire
    company.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary
    Perslien Stenzel; three sons, Wil-
    bert Stenzel of tonawanda, and
    Carl and Reuben Stenzel, of the
    Town of Wheatfield four daugh-
    ters, Mrs. Eleanora Mellenthine, Mrs.
    Erwin Stoelting and Mrs. Arthur
    Stoelting of the Town of Wheat-
    field and Mrs. Dorothea Ellman
    of the town of Tonawanda; 17
    grandchildren and a brother, Her-
    man Stenzel, of Lockport.
    Funeral services will be held Fri-
    day afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
    residence and at 2:30 at St. John's
    church. Rev. Walter Themecke will
    officiate and burial will be in St.
    John's cemetery.

    (Feb. 15, 1956) after a long illness.

    of Wheatfield. and Mrs. John Bross.
    North Tonawanda; three sons. Carl

    eigfit great-grandchildren; two brothers.
    Otto and Frank Penslien, both
    of the Tonawanda.
