    BERGEN, N.Y - Harry C. Gardner, 67, of Bergen, died Thursday (Nov. 16, 1989) in Buffalo Veterans Hospital.
    He was born in Silver Springs, N.Y.
    He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Batavia, the National Rifle Association, Batavia American Legion Post and the National Lutheran Laymen's League. He also served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict.
    Gardner is survived by his wife, Eunice (Mueller) Gardner of Bergen; sons, Peter Gardner and Philip Gardner, both at home; and one sister, Frances Martin of Iowa.
    The family will be present from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the H. E. Turner and Company Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake St., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday.
    Contributions to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Elevator Fund, 31 Washington Ave., Batavia 14020 or the American Heart Association are acceptable as tribute.

    Eunice H. Gardner, 92, of Bergen, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at her home. Eunice was born July 20, 1930, in the town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, N.Y., to the late John and Ada Milleville Mueller. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On May 17, 1961, she was united in marriage to Harry Gardner, who passed away in November 1989. Eunice was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Batavia. She loved serving her Lord in many ways. One of her favorite ways was meeting every Tuesday with her gal pals, where she hand sewed hundreds of quilts for Lutheran World Relief, for well over 30 years. For many years, Eunice was a child care provider, and has stayed in contact with many of them. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. She also enjoyed going out with the Gilliam Grant lunch group, Silver Sneakers, and taking day trips to the Amish Villages and stores. Along with gardening, Eunice enjoyed putting puzzles together, doing crossword puzzles, adult coloring, baking and going on Facebook. Her greatest joy was spending time at family gatherings enjoying the active great grandchildren and crazy fun of the Saran wrap ball at Christmas. Her marriage was blessed by two sons, Peter of Bergen and Philip (Dee) also of Bergen; a grandson, Jordan, and three granddaughters, Nicole (Angelo) Antonini, Kelly (Steve) Panek and Caitlyn Saville; three great-grandchildren. She is survived by a brother, Delbert (Gerda) Mueller of Texas; three nieces and one nephew. Preceded in death by brother, Melvin Mueller; and her stepmother, Ella Mueller. Eunice was a kind, loving woman of God and she will be deeply missed. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020.     WHEATFIELD - World War I veteran John N. Mueller of Cayuga Drive Extension died Thursday (Oct. 16, 1986) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medica Center. He was 91. Mueller was born in the Village of LaSalle before il was annexed to the city, and was a long time resident of Wheatfield. During World War I he served in the 77th Division of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Europe for one year at the Meuse-Argonne Forest. Mueller was a group service operator at the Carborundum Co. for 35 years before retiring in 1960. He was a member of the Carborudum Alumni Association, St. James Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 1451 and the Historical Society of the Town of Wheatfield. He is survived by his wife, Ella (Pfohl) Mueller; sons, Melvin Mueller, of North Tonawanda; Delbert Mueller, of Keller, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Eunice) Gardener, of Bergen, N.Y.; a sister, Lydia Stoelting, and a brother, Benjamin Mueller, both of Wheatfield; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 11 to 1 p.m. Sunday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. The Rev. David B. Menz will conduct services at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bergholz. Burial will be in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery.     John W. Milleville, 83, died yesterday morning at his home on the Old Falls Boulevard, Town of Wheatfield. He was a lifelong resident of the town and a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Helen, nee Milleville; four sons, Hugo and Carl of the town of Wheatfield, Edgar of Marshfield, WI., and Martin of the town of Lewiston; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred Walck of St. Paul, Mrs. Edward DeVantier of Niagara Falls and Helen and Elsie at home; 32 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Ferchen and Mrs. Bertha DeVantier of the town of Wheatfield.
