    Edward J. Siever Former Employee of the City of Niagara Falls Department of Motor Vehicles
    Edward J. Siever, 63, of 101st Street, died Monday, November 5, 2001 in Mt. St. Mar(s Hospital unexpectedly. Mr. Siever was born July 28,1938 in New York City, the son of George and Elizabeth (Pharo) Siever. Mr. Siever served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1961. He formerly worked for the City of Niagara Falls Department of Motor Vehicles for 25 years prior to his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed spending summers at their cottage at Long Beach for the past 27 years. He liked fishing and hunting. Mr. Siever is survived by his wife, Jane (Laughlin) Siever, who he married June 30,1973; three sons, Matthew (Susan) Cicco of Charlotte,. NC, John (Sue) Reese of Brooklyn, NY, and Edward Coffey; a daughter, Michelle (Mark) Dobbertean of New Orleans, Louisiana; three brothers, Robert (Audrey) Siever of Granbury, Texas, Charles Siever California, and Clifford Webb of this City; and a sister, Catherine Hartley of Lockport; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alfred Siever. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Inc., 13622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Interment in N.F. Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.

    ALFRED SILVERSTEIN, ROBERT
    SILVERSTETN. EDWARD SILVERSTEIN
    and CHARLES SILVERSTEIN. to Change
    Their Names to GEORGE J. SIEVER.
    ELIZABETH SIEVER. ALFRED SIEVER,
    ROBERT SIEVER, EDWARD SIEVER and
    CHARLES SIEVER, respectively.
    On reading and filing the petition of
    George J. Silverstein and Elizabeth Silverstein,
    verified on the 21 day of April, 1843,
    praying for a change of name of said
    George J Silversteln. Elizabeth Silverstein,
    Alfred Silverstein, Robert Silverstein, Edward
    Silverstein, and Charles Silverstein,
    the latter four persons being the Infant
    children of the first two persons, it being
    requested that they be permitted to assume

    Mrs. Bodkin Dies at 55
    Funeral services will be held
    Monday for Mrs. Elizabeth L.
    Bodkin, 55, of 520 24th St., who
    died Thursday (Nov. 27, 1969)
    in Buffalo General Hospital
    where she had been a patient
    for the last five days. Mrs.
    Bodkin had been in ill health
    for about nine minths.
    She was a native of,this city.
    Mrs. Bodkin is survived by
    her- husband, William P.
    Bodkin; five sons, Alfred W.
    Siever, Robert R. Siever, and
    Edward J. Siever, all Of this
    city, Charles H.. S i e v e r,
    Cleveland, Ohio, and Clifford.W.
    Webb, this city; a daughter,
    Mrs. Wesley (Catherine) Knee,
    Town of- Pendleton; two
    brothers, William and Leonard
    Pharo, this city; two sisters,
    Mrs. . Dorothy Schultz in
    California and Mrs.- Helen Lovney,
    in Florida, and 14
    grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be herd
    at a time to be announced
    Monday at the Rhoney Funeral
    Home. Burial will be in Oakwood
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call -from 2 to
    5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
    and Sunday at the funeral
    home.
