Haseley and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Grose, all of the Town of Lewiston and Mrs. James (Gretchen) Plough of Batavia; Brother of Mrs. Sigmund Pfohl and Mrs. Martin Milleville of Town of Lewiston. Friends may call at the Pike & Jones Funeral Home Inc., Hoover Road, Sanborn, after 7 p.m. today. Rev. Donald G. Rehkopf will conduct services on Monday in the funeral Home at 2 p.m. and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore Road. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorials donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

    Farmer fatally Stricken
    SANBORN-Erwin G. Haseley, 55, of 2000 Saunders Settlement Rd., well known Niagara County farmer, died today (Oct. 20, 1962) at Ransomville General Hospital about an hour after suffering a heart attack at his home.
    A lifelong resident here, Mr. Haseley was a son of Edward L. and Ella Williams Haseley. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore and an active worker in the church brotherhood. He was a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau and of the Extension Service. He was an exempt member of Sanborn Volunteer Fire Co.
    Surviving are his widow, Edna Kroening Haseley; 1 son, Ernest E. Haseley, who lives next door; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Grose who also lives in Saunders Settlement Road, and, Mrs. James (Gretchen) Plough, Batavia; and two sisters, Mrs. Sigmund Pfohl and Mrs. Martin Milleville, both Town of Lewiston.
    Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, followed by another service at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Church by Rev. Donald G. Rehkopf. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

    Edna A. Haseley, the longtime owner of a family farm on Saunders Settlement Road, died Thursday (Aug. 22, 2002) in CrestWood Health Care Center, Wheatfield. She was 95.
    The former Edna Kroening was born in the Town of Lewiston in 1906. She married Erwin Haseley in 1932. Together, they worked on the family farm until his death in 1962.
    She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she had been active in its Ladies Aid Society and worked on church dinners. She also was a member of the Sanbornites Senior Citizens Group and enjoyed quilting and crafts.
    Mrs. Haseley is survived by a son, Ernest of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Ruth Grose of Daphine, Ala., and Gretchen Plough of Jefferson City, TN.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6169 Walmore Road. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery

    Services for Arthur J. Stoelting, who served in Bergholz Fire Company for 60 years, will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Luther Street and Niagara Road.
    Stoelting, 86, died Saturday (March 18, 1995) in his home on Stoelting Street.
    He was born in Wheatfield, lived there all of his life and was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
    Stoelting was an exempt member of Bergholz Fire Company. He also volunteered for many years with Tri-Community Ambulance Service.
    He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League and had been a member of the Bergholz Fire Company Band in the 1930s and '40s.
    Stoelting worked on his family's dairy farm until 1948, when he went to work at American District Steam Co. in Buffalo. He retired in 1972.
    Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Mathilda Stenzel; a son, Duane A. of Bergholz; three daughters, Helen M. Haseley of Walmore, Margaret E. Jensen of Tucson, AZ., and Mary Lou Milroy of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren

    Mathilda A. Stoelting (Stenzel), age 96, of the Town of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 8, 2010 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on August 31, 1913 to the late Charles and Mary (Penslien) Stenzel. She attended St. John Ev. Lutheran School and the Felton Grammar School in North Tonawanda. Mathilda was a longtime member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where she was a member of the Altar Guild, Quilters, member of the Lutheran Woman's Missionary League and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens. Mathilda enjoyed baking, playing cards and picking strawberries.Survivors include four children, Duane A. Stoelting of Wheatfield, Helen M. Haseley of Walmore, Margaret E. Stuenkel of Cleveland, OH and Mary Lou Milroy of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Erna Stenzel of Wheatfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Stoelting on March 18, 1995 - they were united in marriage June 15, 1935; three sisters and four brothers. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Sunday from 11:30 AM-3:30 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach on Sunday at 5:00 PM in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Road and Luther Street in Bergholz. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.     A very pretty wedding was solemnized
    last Saturday evening at 7
    o'clock in St. John's Evangelical
    Lutheran church, St. Johnsburg,
    when Miss Mathilda Stenzel, youngest
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
    Steneel, Niagara Falls boulevard, became
    the bride of Arthur Stoeltlng,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius C. Stoeltlng,
    of Bergholte. The Rev. J. waiter
    Thiemecke performed the ceremony
    in a lovely setting of spring {lowers,
    Including roses, peonies and various
    mixed bouquets.
    The bride, who was given in marriage
    by her father, entered the
    church to the strains of Lohengrin's
    weddl'ng march, played by Mr. Houbner.
    T. Biaglow rendered two tenor
    solos, "O Perfect Love" and "Jesus,
    Savior, Pilot Me." The bride was
    lovely in a gown of ivory satin
    with insertions of lace made on princess
    lihes with long tight sleeves fin«
    lahed In points over the hands. Her
    long veil, which had a halo cap, was
    elaborately trimmed with tiny pearls
    and orange blossoms and fell to a
    beautiful lace point. She carried a
    shower bouquet of calla lilies, white
    roses, baby's breath and streamers,
    caught with lilies of the valley. Her
    slippers were of white satin trimmed
    with orange blossoms. Miss Margaret
    Pensilen, cousin of the bride
    and maid of honor, was attired in
    peach moussalln* de sole, floor
    length. She carried an arm bouquet
    of talisman roses and baby's breath,
    tied with peach satin ribbon.
    The bridesmaids, Miss Edna Heuer
    and Miss Cordla Stoeltlng, sister of
    the groom, were gowned In dresses of
    the same design as the maid of
    honor. They both wore turquoise blue
    and carried an arm bouquet of pink
    roses and baby's breath; tied with
    blue satin ribbon. They wore white
    sandals and flesh colored hose. The
    bride presented her attendants with
    rhinestone head bands and a double
    string of pearls with a rhinestone
    clasp. The littlee flower girl, Beverley
    Jean Ellman. niece of the bride, wore
    a pink "Shirley Temple" dress and a
    head band to match. She carried a
    basket of pink sweet peas.
    The groom was attended by his
    cousin, Waldemar Camam, as best
    man, and Carl Stenzel and Erwin
    Stoeltlng acted as ushers.
    The bride's mother wore a flowered
    orchid chiffon dress with white accessories.
    The groom's mother wore
    a pink flowered chiffon voile with
    white accessories. Each wore a corsage
    of pink roses and white sweet
    peas..
    Following the ceremony a reception
    was held at the home of the •wide
    for the immediate members of the
    families. Covers were laid for 25
    guests, each place being marked with
    an attractive bride and-groom-piace
    card. The bride's table was set for
    nine and was centered with a threetier
    wedding cake, over which hung
    a large white wedding bell. The
    house was decorated throughout with
    the season's flowers.
    Mr. and Mrs. Stoeltlng left on a
    week's motor trip to Washington,
    D. C, and other points.
    Prenuptlal affairs for the bride
    were a crystal shower given by Mrs.
    T. Blgalow, a variety shower by Miss
    Edna Heuer, a green kitchen shower
    by Miss Margaret Pensilen, a linen
    shower by Mrs..Erwin Stoeltlng and
    a variety shower by the Misses
    Lorena and Cordla Stoeltlng.
