Norma E, Kroening (Schneck) age 73, of Lockport Road, Sanborn: was called to her heavenly home, to be with her Lord on Sunday July 27, 2003 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Born in Buffalo, NY on June 10, 1930 to Victor and Esther (Schroer) Schneck. She graduated from Buffalo city schools and was employed at General Mills, in Buffalo for nine years as an assistant credit manager. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, and a member of the Lutheran Brethrin (sic) Church in North Tonawanda. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Herman E. Kroening; a step-daughter, Amy Kroening; three brothers; Donald (Esther) Schneck, and Harold (Wendy) Schneck both of Poughkeepsie, NY; Robert (Jean) Schneck of Fremont, NE; a half brother Nelson Schneck of NH; and two half sisters; Marilyn Schneck of Buffalo, Linda Winter of Hamburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Howard Kroening. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Lawson on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery.
