    Notes:

    Edgar William Walck, age 94, of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully into the presence of the Lord, at his daughters home in Florida on December 6, 2016. Born in the Town of Wheatfield on November 28, 1922, he was the son of the late William and Selma Walck. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, in Niagara Falls, where he served on the church board and building committee. Edgar played the tuba in both the Bergholz and Sanborn Fire Company's bands, and the church orchestra for many years. He was devoted to serving the Lord, owned and operated a dairy farm in Sanborn, was an avid hunter, farmer, gardener, drove truck until he was 86, and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Elva Rose (Milleville) Walck; children, Mark (Janice) Walck of Sanborn, Carl Walck of Scio, Laurie Walck of Sanborn, Brent Walck of North Tonawanda, Kelly Walck of Amherst and Gail (Tim) Johnston of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren, Tara Walck-Henry, Shanna Hackett, Christa Eodice, Carl Walck, Jr. and Hannah Johnston; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Evan and Brody Eodice, Luke and Ellis Henry, Cooper and Landon Hackett; and many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by two sisters, Irma Haseley and Gladys DeVantier. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday (December 9th) from 4-8 PM. Services will be conducted on Saturday (December 10th) at 11:00 AM in First Assembly of God, 9750 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church, or Niagara Hospice.

    Obituary of Delbert Cummings

    Delbert O. Cummings, Jr. passed away suddenly July 24, 2018.  Born October 24, 1950 in Lockport he was the son of Delbert O. and Jenette (Criswell) Cummings, Sr.  Delbert worked as a farm hand for 30 years with New Royal Orchard in Gasport.  He enjoyed sports playing baseball, music, politics, playing fantasy football, and was a fan of the Buffalo Bill and Sabres and the NY Yankees. 
    Delbert is survived by his children Daniel Cummings, David Cummings, Bruce Cummings, Dylan (Deanna) Cummings, Marc (Shannon) Haner, Kyle (Amanda) Haner, Tammy (Joe) Kowalik, Brandy (Chris) Stinson, and Robin (Eric) James; 22 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings Doug Cummings, Mike Cummings, Cindy Cummings, Marchele Cummings, Judy LaPort, Brenda Rodriguez, Candi Southard, and late Scott Cummings, Randy Cummings, and Wendy Cummings; also survived by his former wives Darlene Haner and Karen Beahr, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
    Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 27th from 10 am to 12 Noon with services at 12 Noon in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Royalton Union Cemetery on Bunker Hill Rd., Gasport.

    SANBORN - William A. Walck, 81, of Saunders Settlement Road, was pronounced dead on arrival Wednesday (March 20, 1974) at Memorial Medical Center after being stricken with an apparent heart attack. He was a native of the Town of Wheatfield and had operated a farm in Saunders Settlement Road for most of his life. He was a life member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, where he had held various positions. He was also on active member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau and its Extension Service. He was predeceased by his wife, Selma, who died in 1968. Survivors include a son, Edgar; two daughters, Mrs. William (Ira sic)) Haseley and Mrs. Ralph (Gladys) DeVantier, all of this community; two brothers, Rudolph and Hubert Walck, both of Sanborn; a sister, Mrs. John (Agnes) DeVantier of Niagara Falls, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold Baum officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Contributions to the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church fund will be acceptable as tribute, the family said.

    NORTH TONAWANDA-Carl J. Milleville, 73, died today (Jan. 18, 1974) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He was a farmer and had been a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and a member of St. James Church, a member of Bergholz Fire Co. and a 40-year member of the New York State Cooperative Extension, New York State Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife, the former Viola Hasley (sic); a son, Wilbert Milleville of the Town of Wheatfield; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Elva) Walck, Mrs. Dale (Lois) Bush, both of Sanborn, and Mrs. Larry (Jean) Coble of Montreal, Que.; two brothers, the Rev. Edgar Milleville of Cedarburg, Wis., and Martin Milleville of Lewiston; three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Thekla) Devantier (sic) and Helen Milleville of Wheatfield; and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in St. James Church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Robert Lehman officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.     Viola L. Milleville, 92, died Sunday (Dec. 26, 1999) in Schoellkopf Health Center, Niagara Falls, after a brief illness. She had been a patient there for the past few months.
    Born Viola Haseley in the Town of Niagara, she worked for a few years at the Nabisco Shredded Wheat plant in Niagara Falls as a biscuit packer before marrying Carl J. Milleville on Oct. 16, 1927.
    They operated a dairy farm, which is still run today by their son and grandsons. Her husband died in 1974.
    Mrs. Milleville was a member of the Wheatfield Senior Citizens and loved to crochet, make quilts and travel.
    Survivors include her son, Wilbert; three daughters Elva Walck, Jean St. John and Lois Bush, all of Sanborn; 16 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery
