    William W. Schildhauer, age 89 of the Town of Niagara, was called to his heavenly home on June 23, 2017, while at the Niagara Hospice House. Born in West Allis, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Walter and Erna (Meister) Schildhauer. Bill was employed as a program planner at the former Bell Aerospace, in Wheatfield. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Gladys (Haseley) Schildhauer, on August 22, 2007. A FULL OBITUARY WILL BE PUBLISHED along with the dates and times for visitation and services, when complete information is received from the family.

Bill moved to Western New York in 1932, served in the U.S. Army, and was employed as a program planner at Bell Aerospace, retiring in 1988. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Gladys (Haseley) Schildhauer, on August 22, 2007, and a sister, Ellen (Gerald) Kanouff. Survivors include five children, Gary (Louise), Robert (Denise), Donald (Peggy) Schildhauer, Joyce (Ed) Harris, and Wendy (Kenneth) Pendergast; a sister, Janette (Clarence) Lemley; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.     Gladys L. Schildhauer (Haseley), age 81, of Haseley Drive, Town of Niagara, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at her residence. Born in the Town of Niagara, NY on March 7, 1926 to the late Erich and Irene (Buehring) Haseley. She was a life long member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Walmore, where she was with the Women of the Church Quilting Group. Gladys graduated from LaSalle High School, was employed for several years at Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls and was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and worked at the L.A.D.D. shop in Niagara Falls. Survivors include her husband, William W. Schildhauer; they were married June 12, 1948; five children, Gary (Louise) Schildhauer, Joyce (Ed) Harris, Robert (Denise) Schildhauer, Wendy (Ken) Pendergast and Donald (Peggy) Schildhauer; a brother, LaVern (Ruth) Haseley; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Florence Haseley. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Gamaché on Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Walmore Road. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.     WALMORE, June 16-One of the
    loveliest weddings of the season was
    solemnised by, the Rev. Edward
    Orabow at the St. Peter's Lutheran
    church, Saturday when Miss Gladys
    Ludle Haseley, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Erich J. Haseley of Lockport
    road, was united In marriage to Mr.
    William Schlldhauer, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. W. E. Schlldhauer, Ninety-first
    street.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, was traditionally dressed
    In a white satin gown with fitted
    bodice and yoke of illusion, bordered
    with a ruffle of Valencia lace, which
    also hemmed the long scalloped
    train. A ruffle of the same lace
    on the skirt of the gown was caught
    with tiny bow knots of white satin.
    The long sleeves came to a point
    over her hands. Her fingertip veil
    fell from a tiara of seed pearls and
    a single strand of pearls encircled
    her throat. She carried a bouquet
    of white roses centered with an orchid.
    The maid of honor, Miss Jeanette
    Schlldhauer, sister of the bride-
    groom, wore a gown of blue marqui-
    setta over tafffeta. She wore a
    matching headdress of blue flowers
    and marquisette and carried a bou-
    quet of yellow roses.
    Miss Eleanor Tubbe and Mrs. Hugo
    Walck, the bridesmaids, wore
    matching gowns and headdresses of
    pink and yellow marquisetts over
    taffeta and carried bouquets of
    American Beauty roses. The flower-
    girl, Miss Judy DuBois, wore a gown
    of blue with pink bows on the dress
    and in her hair. She carried a bas-
    ket of pink carnations and rose
    petals.
    Mr. Richard Tubbe acted as best

    man, and Mr. La Verne Haseley,
    brother of the bride, and Mr. Warren
    Lukk were ushers. The organ
    music was provided by Mr. Arnold
    Nuoffer of North Tonawanda and
    Mr. Paul Mehls sang "Oh. Tell Me
    Why," rob, Perfect Love" and "The
    Lord's Prayer." Palms and baskets
    of garden flowers decorated the
    church. The pews bore markers of
    whKe satin ribbons.
    The mother of the bride was
    dressed in blue chiffon with white
    accessories. The mother of the
    bridegroom wore an attractive dress
    of. aqua linen and accessories of
    black. After a dinner for 100 guests,
    the couple left for a tour through
    the eastern states. For her traveling
    outfit, the bride chose a twopiece
    white sharkskin dress with
    white accessories and an orchid corsage.
    The bride and bridegroom will
    make their home with the bride's
    parents in Lockport road.

    Leader in Church Work Dies at 62
    PEKIN-Walter E. Schildhauer, 62, of 2577 Upper Mountain Road, died Friday (May 7, 1965) in Niagara Falls Memorial after a brief illness
    Born in Marshville, Wis. Mr. Schildhauer had lived in the Sanborn-Pekin area for 12 years, having moved here from Niagara Falls. He was a production engineer with the Globar Division of Carborundum Co. for 38 years and was a member of the Management Club. He was a past president of the Lutheran Laymen, Niagara Zone. He also served the St. Andrew's congregation here as president. He was a member of the church council, chairman of the board of elders, a member of the evangelism committee and acted as teen-age Bible class teacher of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church until the time of his death.
    Survivors include his widow, the former Erna Meister; two daughters, Mrs. John Andrews, Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Gerald Kanouff, Sanborn; a son, William Schildhauer, Niagara Falls; a sister, Mrs. E. Kunze, Milwaukee; a brother, Edgar Voelker, Milwaukee; 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home, Sanborn, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Services will be held at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Pekin, at 2 p.m., Monday. Rev. La Verne, J. Fitch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
    The family said memorials to St. Andrew's Lutheran School fund will be acceptable as tributes.

    Erna Schildhauer Miller, 82, of Niagara Falls died yesterday (Nov. 28, 1984) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and had been a resident of this area since 1928. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Pekin. Mrs. Schildhauer was past president of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She is survived by a son, William Schildhauer of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Janette) Lemley of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hediger of Niagara Falls and Mrs. Olga Trapp of Milwaukee, Wis.; and 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Mrs. Ellen Kanouff. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Cayuga Drive and Pershing Avenue.     TOWN OF NIAGARA Erich J. Haseley. 86, of 8515 Lockport Road died Saturday (Oct. 28. 1978) in Memorial Medical Center, Niagara Falls.
    A lifelong resident of the Town of Niagara, where he had operated a farm at Lockport and Packard roads, he was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a former trustee and chairman of the congregation. He had served as chairman of the building committee of St. Peter's Lutheran School and was a charter member of Niagara No. 1,Volunteer Fire Co. He was also a former Town of Niagara Justice of the Peace and had served as town supervisor.
    Surviving are his wife. Irene; a son, LaVern Haseley; a daughter, Mrs. William Gladys Schildhauer, both of the Town of Niagara; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Florence Haseley. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul F. Wittenburg Officiating.
