    for the marriage of Miss Margaret Ruth
    Haselev and Ralph Wayne Ewald.
    Rev. Donald G. Rehkopf, assisted by
    Rev. Herman Ewald, the bridegroom's
    grandfather, officiated at the 3 p.m. double-
    ring ceremony uniting the daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Harvey H. Haseley, 3109 Lookport
    Road, and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Carlton Ewald, Koepsel Road, Akron, N.Y.

    GIVEN IN MARRIAGE by her father,
    the bride wore a gown of white organza
    and Alencon lace embroidered with pearls
    and featuring a slim bell skirt terminating
    in a cathedral train.
    Miss Karen Haseley, sister of the bride,
    was maid of honor. She was atbired in floor
    length pinik sata peau.

    Milleville, cousins of the bride, and the
    Misses Sharon Ewald and Sandra Ewald,
    sisters otf the bridegroom, were bridesmaids.
    Their attire was similar to that of the maid
    of honor in blue. They carried baskets of
    bhie carnations, lily of the valley and Ivy.
    Two flowergirls, Miss Janet Lee Walck
    and Miss Carol Ann Buerger, nieces of the
    bride, wore gowns and carried flowers similar
    to those of the maid of honor. Dale

    ROBERT STAHL was best man. Roy
    Haseley and Howard Haseley, brothers of
    the bride, and Eugene Kozloskl and Fred
    Jago were ushers.
    A reception was held in Bergholz Firehall
    after the ceremony.
    After a wedding trip to Virginia and
    Washington, D.C., the newltyweds will reside
    at 3149 Lookport Road.

    Services for Carlton "Grampy" Ewald, 74, of Akron, a retired employee of the former Simonds Saw & Steel County, Lockport, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Wolcottsville.
    Ewald died Thursday (Feb. 2, 1995) in Buffalo General Hospital.
    Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former Ruth Wolfe; three sons, Ralph of Ransomville, Keith of Ohio and Kevin of Wolcottsville; two daughters, Sharon Brandt and Sandra Frey, both of Lockport; a brother, Arthur of Batavia; a sister, Naomi Covert of Akron; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

    AKRON —
    Ruth A. Ewald of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Brothers of Mercy Health Care Facility. Mrs Ewald was born in the Town of Royalton on May 2, 1921, daughter of Henry and Edna (Giertz) Wolfe.
    She has lived in the Wolcottsville area all of her life and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville. She was a former 4-H Leader in Wolcottsville and she taught leather crafting at the 4-H Fair. She enjoyed her family and flower gardening. She and her husband, Carlton Ewald, were married on July 17, 1942 in Wolcottsville. He predeceased her in 1995. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Brandt; two sons, David Ewald and Bruce Ewald; a son-in-law, Donald Frey; a grandson, Jeff Ewald; her siblings, Erma Glena, Helen Kozloski, Mabel Morgan, Dolores Eldridge, Anna Eick, Gertrude Glena and Kenneth Wolfe.
    She is survived by her children, Ralph (Margaret) Ewald of Ransomville, Sandra Frey of Lockport, Keith (Diane) Ewald of Ohio and Kevin (Nancy) Ewald of Lockport. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville with the Rev. Josh McGuffie officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Wolcottsville. Memorials to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the Ewald family.

    Harvey H. Haseley, of Sanborn, NY, entered into eternal rest and his heavenly home on Saturday March 1, 2003, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89 years.
    He was born on May 29, 1913, in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, the son of Anthony and Hulda [ Kroening ] Haseley. At an early age, he was raised by the Fahrnwald Family, Fred, Rose and Phillip, Emma, on the family farm, in Sanborn, now, the Power View Farm, well known as a prize winning farm for raising Registered Holstein Cattle, grain and hay, where he has worked all his life. He was a Charter Member of the Niagara County Milk Producer's. Mr. Haseley was a lifetime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walmore.
    He was predeceased, by his wife of 67 years, Elvira M. [ Fedeler ], who died November 11, 2002.
    Surviving are his children, Lois Burkhardt [ late Sam ] , of Lockport, Niagara County, NY; Helen Buerger [ William ] of Sanborn; Roy Haseley [ Eileen ] of Sanborn; Margaret Ewald [ Ralph ] of Ransomville; Howard Haseley [ late Linda ] of Sanborn; Karen Hicks [ Donald ] of Bluff City, TN; Nelson Haseley [ Barbara ], of Sanborn; a sister Irma Haseley, of Sanborn; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    He was the brother of the late Edwin Haseley, Hilda Wendt and Frances Walck.
    The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 7- 9 P.M. Thursday and 1 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. Friday.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, with the Rev. Bruce Gamache, officiating.
    Burial will in St. Peter's Cemetery

    Elvira Margaret [ Fedeler ] Haseley, entered into eternal rest and her heavenly home on Monday, November 11, 2002, at home surrounded by her loving husband and family at the age of 92 years.
    She was born on March 12, 1910, the daughter of Frederick and Martha [ Gienapp ] Fedeler, in Colton, SD, at the age of six her family moved to Waverly, IA, where she attended parochial school and was confirmed on April 5, 1925. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly, graduating in 1930.
    Mrs. Haseley moved to the Sanborn, NY, area in 1930, where she taught at the St. Peter's Lutheran School, from 1930 to 1935. She married her husband Harvey Haseley on June 29, 1935, and has helped run the family farm known as Power-View Farm, with her husband and family.
    Mrs. Haseley was a longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walmore, where she was the church organist for 30 years.
    Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Harvey Haseley; her children, Lois Burkhardt [ late Sam ] , of Lockport, Niagara County, NY; Helen Buerger [ William ] of Sanborn; Roy Haseley [ Eileen ] of Sanborn; Margaret Ewald [ Ralph ] of Ransomville; Howard Haseley [ late Linda ] of Sanborn; Karen Hicks [ Donald ] of Bluff City, TN; Nelson Haseley [ Barbara], of Sanborn; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; five sisters, Hilda Fedeler; Florence Fedeler; Martha Graeser [Virgil ]; Lorena Arns [ late Victor ] from Waverly, IA; Edna Polenz [ Donald ], of Sierra Vista; AZ; her sister-in-law Irma Haseley, of Sanborn; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Norman [ Wanda ] Fedeler.
    The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 1 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. Wednesday.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, with the Rev. Bruce Gamache, officiating.
