    Robert E. Darlak, age 65, of Wheatfield, entered into rest peacefully June 13, 2009, with his family at his side, after a brief illness. Born February 13, 1944, son of the late Edward and Josephine Darlak. A U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and based in Camron Bay, he was employed at Unipunch Products, Buffalo, over 30 years and S and R Instruments for 10 years. Robert loved hunting and fishing at Honeye Lake, loved the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren and family.Survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha L. (Grawe) Darlak; father of Claudette (Andre) Lemieux, Jeanette (Joel) Prohaska and Glen (Jody) Darlak. Papa of Dalton, Hunter and Lynnea Lemieux, Cole and Cloe Darlak; sister, Lorraine Richau and grand-dog, Ursula Prohaska. Predeceased by a sister, JoAnn Sikora. Visitation will be on Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield. Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 4:00 PM in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Rd. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.     WHEATFIELD - Hilda R. Grawe of Niagara Falls Boulevard died unexpectedly Sunday in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, North Tonawanda. She was 84.
    A Wheatfield native, the former Hilda DeVantier was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she attended Bible class and services and spent time playing cards with the "Rook Gang." She also was a member of St. John's Ladies Aid and the Altar Guild and the Wheatfield Senior Citizens.
    Her husband, Allan P., died in 1982.
    She is survived by a son, Daniel of Wheatfield; two daughters, Margaret Failing and Martha Darlak, both of Wheatfield; three brothers, Franklin DeVantier of Arizona and Elton DeVantier and Melvin DeVantier, both of Wheatfield; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 2 P.M. today in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Hilda R. Grawe of Niagara Falls Boulevard died unexpectedly Sunday in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, North Tonawanda. She was 84. A Wheatfield native, the former Hilda DeVantier was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she attended Bible class and services and spent time playing cards with the "Rook Gang."     Herman J. Grawe, 61, of 65 Fredericka St. died suddenly Saturday afternoon while at work at the Buffalo Bolt Company, Division of Buffalo-Eclipse Corporation. Mr. Grawe was born in Johnsburg and had been a resident of North Tonawanda for the past 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, nee Riedel. He was the father of Mrs. Earl Janowsky, Allan, William, Mrs. Carlton Reitch, Herman Jr. and Mrs. Frank Alliger III; brother of Edward of Johnsburg, George of Nashville, Philippineslip, Benjamin and Walter of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Charles Neuman and Mrs. Ruth Pieper. Ten grandchildren also survive. Services will be Tuesday in the family residence at 2 P.M. and in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 2:30 P.M. The Rev. Paul H. Fretthold will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.

    GRAWE – Margaret A. Grawe, 88, of North Tonawanda, Monday (September 5, 1983) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Grawe was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and St. Mark’s Seniors. She was the wife of the late Herman J. Grawe who died in 1952 and mother of the late Herman and Allan Grawe.
    She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Mildred) Janowsky of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Marie Reich of Tonawanda and Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Alliger of Florida; a son, William (Doretta) Grawe of North Tonawanda; twelve grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Miss Mary Riedel of the Town of Wheatfield and many nieces and nephews.
