    Penelope (Barr) Fedder of Sanborn, NY wife of the late William Fedder entered into rest on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 17, 1942, daughter of the late Adam and Agnes Nelson Barr.


    A graduate of NFHS Class of 1960, Penny worked as a waitress in Newfane for various restaurants. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to the casino, watching Law & Order, and going on excursions with the girls.


    Mother of Patrick Fedder, Andrew Fedder and Jason (Melissa) Fedder. Grandmother of Evangeline, Thor, Joseph, and Maxwell. Sister of the late Shirley Miller, Thomas Barr, Muriel Gordineer and Carol Dyson.


    Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm where a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094, or a charity of one’s choice are requested.

    Gridley funeral-home as incorrectly

    Adam Leroy Barr, 49. of 741

    Eighth street, died last evening at
    his home after an Illness of seven
    weeks. He was a carpenter for the
    Oldbury Chemical company and had
    been a resident of this city for the
    last 17 years. He was a native of
    Windburne, Ont.
    Surviving Mr. Barr are his wife,
    Mrs. Agnes Barr, and five children,
    Mrs. Raymond D. Miller, Muriel,
    Thomas, Carol and Penelope. Two
    brothers, Donald D.. and Harry P.,
    and a sister, Mrs. William H. Gratz.
    also survive. All are residents of
    this city.
    Funeral services will be held from

    the Grldley funeral home on Friday
    afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the
    Rev. Richard A. Davis officiating.
    Interment will be in Memorial Park
    cemetery.

    Thomas Barr, of 1848 Michigan
    avenue, died in Memorial hospital at
    1:15 o'clock this morning, following
    a weeks Illness. He was 59 years old.
    A native of Snowshoe, Pa., Mr. Barr
    had lived in Niagara Falls for the
    past six years. He was employed as a
    blacksmith at the plant of the Carborundum
    company. He was a member
    of the I. O. O. F. lodge of Swinburne,
    Pa. He is survived by his wife,
    Mrs. Carrie Pierce Barr, and three
    sons, Adam I.., Donald D. and Harry
    T. Barr. of this city; A daughter. Mrs.
    Margaret K. Gratz, of Kenmore;
    four brothers, John and James Barr,
    of this city, and Adam and Roper
    Barr. ot Pennsylvania, and three
    sisters, Mrs. George Noll and Mrs.
    Charles Johnson, of Swinburne, Pa,
    and Mrs. Frank Murray, ot Lewiston,
    Pa. Ten grandchildren also survive.
    Funeral services will be held at the
    family honre at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday,
    with the Rev. W. C. Crofts, pastor of
    the First Presbyterian church, officiating.
    Interment will be made In
    Memorial Park cemetery.
