    WILSON-A lovely summer wed-
    ding took, place Saturday evening,
    June 28. at 7 o'clock in the Methodist
    Episcopal church at Wilson,
    when Miss Naomi Violet Beutel.
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry C.
    Beutel, of Wilson, and Mr. Ralph J.
    Tompkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al-
    bert T. Tompkins of Sanborn, were
    united in marriage. The Rev. John
    F. Leffler, pastor of the church,
    performed the ceremony before the
    altar effectively decorated with bas-
    kets of rose-pink Virginia gladioli
    with gypsophelia and fan palms.
    Special muscial selections by Miss
    Delores Herbst, cousin of the bride,
    provided the musical setting for the
    service. Immediately preceding the
    ceremony, Ronald Gotts, also cousin
    of the bride, sang. "I Love You
    Truly."
    The bride, who was given in mar-
    riage by her father, entered the
    church to the strains of the "Lo-
    hengrin Wedding March." She wore
    a princess gown of white embroid-
    ered mousseline de soie with sweet-
    heart neckline and puffed sleeves.
    Her wreath and sheeer long silk veil
    had been worn by her mother as a
    bride. She carried a bouquet of
    white sweet peas tied with a huge
    white satin bow.
    Mrs. Lewis L. Morris, of Niagara
    Falls, sister of the ride, was her
    only attendant. Her shell pink chif-
    fon gown was made on Grecian
    lines with short sleves and a full
    skirt. she carried a bouquet of pink
    Premier roses and pink sweet peas
    tied with a large blue satin bow,
    and wore a rose in her hair.
    Miss Janice M. Smith, of Buf-
    falo, little cousin of the bride, was
    adorable as flower girl. She wore
    a floor length shell pink mousseline
    de soie dress with a fitted bodice
    short puff sleeves and a very full
    skirt trimmed with blue bows. Her
    bouquet was of pink roses, white
    sweet peas and blue bachelor but-
    tons.
    Henry Allen Treichler, of San-
    born, friend of the groom, was his
    best man. Donald Imson, Jr., of Ni-
    agara Falls, small nephew of the
    groom, acted as ringbearer. He
    looked very trim in his white palm
    beach suit. He bore a pillow of
    white.
    The ushers were Waldo F. Beutel
    of Wilson, and Lewis L. Morris, of
    Niagara Falls, brother adn brother-
    in-law, respectifely of the bride.
    The mother of the bride was be-
    comingly dressed in a navy blue
    flowered dress of silk crepe with
    white accessories. She wore a lovely
    corsage of Premier and Talisman
    roses with sweet peas and bachelor
    buttons.
    The bridegroom's mother was attractive
    in a powder blue silk crepe
    dress with white accessories. She
    aLso wore a corsace of Premier and
    Talisman roses with sweet peas and
    bachelor buttons.
    An informal reception was held
    at the home of the bride's parents
    for 60 guests. The table was deco=
    rated with white and pink and cen-
    tered with a three-tier wedding
    cake.
    Later in the evening, Mr. and
    Mrs. Tompkins left for a 10-day
    honeymoon through the southern
    states, visiting the bride's brother,
    Frederick H. Beutel, who is in camp
    at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

    Memorial Hospital after a
    week's illness.
    Mr. Beutel was born Sept.
    30, 1879, in the Town of
    Wheatfield, and had done
    general farming in this area
    for 65 years. His wife, the
    former Mary Trippensee,
    died in 1954.
    Survivors include two
    sons, Waldo and Frederick
    Beutel, both of Wilson; two
    daughters, Mrs. Navarre
    (Velma) Foster, Crown
    Point, lnd., and Mrs. Ralph
    ( N a o m i ) Tompkins, Sanborn;
    two brothers, Gustave
    Beutel. Lockport, and Anton
    Beutel, Newfane; a sister,
    Mrs. Bernard Behm, North
    Tonawanda, and s e v en
    grandchildren.
    The family wild be present
    from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
    at the Hamilton and Clark
    Funeral Chapel, where services
    will be held at 2 p.m.
    Tuesday, Rev. Paul Huyett
    of Exley Methodist Church
    officiating. Burial will be in
    North Ridge Cemetery.

    WILSON, Dec. 29.-Funeral services
    for Mrs. Mary M. Beutel, who
    died it the Niagara Fills Memorial
    hospital, were held from the home
    of a daughter, Mrs Navarre Foster,
    Ridge road, Lockport, with the Rev.
    Walter Kingsley. of the Wilson
    Methodist church, officiating. Interment
    was in North Ridge cemetery.
    A resident of the Town of Wilson
    for more than 40 years, Mrs. Beutel
    resided in the Town Line road. She
    was a member of the'Wilson Exley
    Methodist church, the Warren's Corners
    Grange and the Home circle.
    Surviving Mrs. Beutel are her husband,
    Henry Beutel, Wilson; two
    daughters, Mrs. Foster, Lockport.
    and Mrs. Ralph Tompkins, Sanborn;
    two sons, Waldo Beutel, Wilson, and
    Frederick Beutel, at home; four
    grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. William
    Strassburg, Pekin, Mrs. Henry
    Herbst, Lockport, Mrs Vinil Gotts,
    Lockport, and Mrs. George Smith,
    North Tonawanda, and three brothers,
    Horald Trippensee, Middleport.

    is Arms of Jesus." "When Shall

    26 years. He then married Miss
    Mary Linke who survives him. He
    was a life-long member.of t h e E v a n -
    gelical church, arid resided in South
    Ridge many years and served as
    a trustee for several years.
    His death was a shock to his family
    as he was only ill ten days.

    Germany and coming to the United
    States at the age of nine, Mrs.
    Mary Trippensee, 82, widow of Fred-
    erick Trippensee, died yesterday at
    her home, in the Million Dollar
    highway, Town of Cambria, after
    an illness of several months. Mr.
    Trippensee died 22 years ago. Ex-
    cept for three years spent in Miller-
    sport, N.Y., Mrs. Trippensee had
    always made her home in Cambria.
    Surviving are three sons and six
    daughters, Frederick and Adolph,
    Mrs. Helene Herbst, Mrs. Ida Herbst
    and Mrs. Dora Gotts, all of Cambria,
    Mrs. Mary Beutel of Wilson, N.Y.,
    Mrs. Emma Strassburg of Pekin,
    N.Y., Mrs. Esther Smith, of Tona-
    wanda, and Harold, of Johnson
    Creek, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Min-
    nie Reitz, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.,
    and Mrs. Anna Kohn, of The Rap-
    ids, N.Y.
    Services will be held at the home
    Sunday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in
    North Ridge cemetery.
