Lutheran Church (East Felton St.) She was the wife of the late Edward R. Durkee. Beloved mother of James (Helen) Durkee of Wheatfield; grandmother of Kristen (Keith) Reimers and Marc J. Durkee, both of Florida; sister of the late Agnes Turner, Minnie Zobrist and the Rev. Bernhard Walck; aunt of many nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda, the Rev. Devie Ellis will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 64 E. Felton St., North Tonawanda, NY.     opalescent gladioli for an interesting
    wedding Saturday afternoon at
    4 o'clock, when Ella Esther Walck.
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil
    Walck. became the bride of Edward
    Durkee, son of Mrs. Florence Durkee,
    of Tonawanda, N. Y. The Rev.
    Gustav Zlemer officiated. Mrs.
    Ruth Shultz Williams, at the organ,
    accompanied Barney Walck,
    soloist.
    Olven In marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a graceful gown of
    white brocaded vel-ray, fashioned
    with a Queen Elizabeth collar of
    seeded pearls and moulded bodice
    and her skirt flaring Into a peacock
    tram. Her fingertip veil was held
    with an Elizabethan halo of net
    and pearls. 8he carried a bouquet
    of white roses and Uliea-of-thevalley
    centered around an orchid.
    Miss Minnie Walck, sister of the
    bride, was gowned in cornflower
    blue moire taffeta, fashioned with
    A bouffant skirt. She wore matching
    orchids In her hair and carried
    A colonial bouquet of pink and yellow
    pompoms and pink roses.

    brother of the bridegroom, was the
    best man.
    Mrs. Emil Walck, the bride's
    mother, wore a black crepe dress
    And a corsage of orchids. Mrs.
    Florence Durkee, the bridegroom's
    mother, wore a black velvet dress
    and a corsage of orchids.
    A dinner was served at the Red
    Coach Inn, after a reception at the
    bride's home from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
    Mr. Durkee and his bride left by
    motor for an eastern trip and upon
    thebr return will reside In Fourth
    street. The bride traveled in a frock
    of sheer wool of hunter's green and
    matching coat of green velvet. Her
    hat and accessories were of gold
    and she wore a corsage of yellow
    roses.
    Pre-nuptial parties were given by
    Miss Minnie Walck and Mrs. Emil
    Walck, a towel shower; a red and
    white kitchen shower by Mrs. F.
    Durkee, Mrs. Fred Durkee, Mrs.
    Wm. Durkee and Mrs. Al Stelg; a
    variety shower by the Globar girls
    at the Jade room; a dinner party
    at the Ray-Ott club by Misses Ellen
    and Beryl Cegles.

    Esther N. Walck Ex-Sanborn resident dies at 93
    SANBORN - Esther N. (Beutel) Walck, formerly of Sanborn, died in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, Wheatfield, Tuesday (Aug. 11, 1987). She was 93. Mrs. Walck was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Joy Circle group. She enjoyed sewing. She was the wife of the late Emil Walck. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Al (Agnes) Turner and Ella Durkee of North Tonawanda, Minnie Zobrist of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, the Rev. Bernhard Walck of Simi Valley, Calif., nine grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore Road, conducted by the Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell. Burial will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon today at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Contributions to St. Peter's Lutheran School are acceptable as tribute.

    schools until his retirement.

    native of Niagara county, died early
    today at his home.
    Born in Walmore, Mr. Beutel operated
    a farm for the ??
    of his life until he retired recently.
    He is survived by three sons. Edward,
    William and Hubert Beutel,
    all of Sanborn, and three daughters,
    Mrs. Emil Walck and Mrs. Adolph
    Devantier, both of this city, and
    Mrs. Evan Shall, Wilson. Eighteen'
    grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren
    also survive.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the home Saturday at 2 p. m. and
    at 2:30 o'clock at St. Peter's church,
    Walmore, with the Rev. Edward
    Grabau officiating. Interment will
    be In Walmore cemetery.
