Sophie M. Schultz (nee Milleville), age 95, of North Tonawanda, died November 19, 2008, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Sophie was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church (Old Falls Blvd.) As a child she attended St. James Lutheran School and was confirmed and married at St. James Lutheran Church. Sophie was a member of the Bergholtz Historical Society. She was the wife of the late Gerhard Schultz, who died in 1979. Beloved mother of David John (Grace) Schultz of Huntsville, AL, Robert Albert (Judy) Schultz of Jamestown, NY, Peter Gerhard (Joanne) Schultz of Fairport, Linda Ann (Lee) Ruk of North Tonawanda and the late Mariam Louise. Grandmother of eight grandchildren; two step-grand- children and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mabel Klemm of South Dakota and Judith Stroble of Ohio; aunt of several nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 PM from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., in North Tonawanda. The Rev. Karl Haeussler will officiate. SCHULTZ - Wilhelmine, age 96, nee Beutel, Sunday May 24, 1964, after a long Illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Kuglin of 217 Linwood Ave., North Tonawanda, N.Y. Wife of the late John Schultz. Besides Mrs. Kuglin she is survived by 3 sons, Benjamin, Emil and Gerhard, all of the Town of Wheatfield, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Bernhard Behm of North Tonawanda and 3 brothers, Gustav, Henry and Anton Beutel, all of Wilson. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 OHver St., at Ward Road, North Tonawanda, N.Y., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. MILLEVILLE – Rosina Magdalena Milleville (nee Ferchen), 92, of the Town of Wheatfield, Tuesday (Sept. 7, 1976) at the Grand Island Nursing Home. Mrs. Milleville was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and a life member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Wife of the late Albert Milleville, who died in 1931, she is survived by two sons, Gerhard W. and Albert E. Milleville, both of the Town of Wheatfield; seven daughters, Mrs. Paul (Vera) Ferchen, Mrs. Elmer (Anna) Moll, Mrs. Arnold (Louise) Wendt, Mrs. Gerhard (Sophia) Schultz and Miss Rose E. Milleville, all of the Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Paul (Mabel) Klemm of Woonsocket, So. Dakota and Mrs. Howard (Judith) Stroble of Cardington, OH; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Haseley of the Town of Lewiston.
The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held in St. James Lutheran Church Friday at 1:30 P.M., the Rev. John H. Crilley will officiate. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
