Morgan, age 73, of Ridge Rd., died suddenly on Saturday, November 29, 2008 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.James was born January 18, 1935 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, to the late Clyde and Mary Elizabeth (Emery) Morgan and was raised by his foster parents, the late Rudolph and Louise Beutel. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. On December 28, 1957 he married Joan E. (McCarthy) Morgan. Joan predeceased him on September 11, 1999.James first worked for Simon Steel in Lockport. He then worked in the Boiler Dept. at Kimberly Clark for 22 years. He retired as the Lot Service Manager from Alongi Oldsmobile in Niagara Falls where he was employed for five years. James was a member of North Ridge Untied Methodist Church in Cambria; a member of American Legion O. Leo Curtiss Post #830 in Ransomville; a life member of V.F.W. Post #2535 in Lockport; a member and past Commander of the Newfane V.F.W. Post; a member of the Town of Newfane Historical Society; a member of the Newfane Golden Age Club; and a Exempt Member of the Pekin Volunteer Firemen. He made ceramics and collected miniature cars. He enjoyed antiques, gardening, his dog “Dusty”, and playing Santa Claus in the area for many years.He is survived by his children, Dawn Wollaber (Albert Green) of Lockport, Bruce (Guida) Morgan of Shepardson, WV, Timothy (Ellen) Morgan of Wilson, and James (Donna) Morgan of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; two sisters, Shirley Kneeppel of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY and Ruth (LaVerne) Haseley of the Town of Niagara; a brother, Leonard Beutel of Sanborn; his loving companion, Nancy Jacobs and her children, Deborah (Richard) Colaizzi, Michael (Tina) Jacobs, Jeanne Jacobs (Dave Hoffman), and the late Robert Jacobs, Jr.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Kim Sellers officiating. Burial will be private in the Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin at the convenience of the family.     Sanborn Man Dies on Trip to Buffalo
    Sanborn - Rudolph A. Beutel, 58, of 2381 Lockport Road, a 30-year worker at Kimberly-Clark Corp, Niagara Falls, where he was employed as a machine operator until retiring three years ago, died today(Sept. 28, 1961) after being stricken with a heart attack in Buffalo.
    He was pronounced dead on arrival at Edward J. Meyer Memorial Hospital where he was taken by ambulance.
    A lifelong resident of this community, where he was born on Feb 20, 1903, Mr. Beutel was a son of the late William and Amelia Retzlaff Beutel. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore.
    Surviving are his widow, Louise Mueller Beutel; two sons, Leonard H. Beutel and James Morgan, both of this community; a daughter Mrs. LaVern (Ruth) Haseley, Niagara Falls; three brothers, Edwin, Irwin and Walter Beutel, all of Sanborn and eight grandchildren.
    Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home, where Rev. Donald G. Rehkopf will conduct services at 2:30 P.M. Sunday and at 3:00 P.M. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St/ Peter's Cemetery. The family said memorial donation may be made to the building fund of St. Peter's Church or to the American heart Society.

    BERGOLTZ, Nov. 29. - - The marriage
    of Miss Louise Mueller of the
    Buffalo-Falls boulevard to Rudolf
    Beutel of the Lockport road was one
    ot the prettiest weddings held this
    season. Miss Mueller is the daughter
    of, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Mueller, and
    Mr. Beutel Is a son of Mrs. Amalia
    Beutel. The ceremony took place last
    Saturday afternoon, November 26th,
    at 4 o'clock, In the St James
    Evangelical Lutheran church, the
    Rev. Otto Bruss and Rev. Edward
    Grabau. pastors of the S t Peter's
    church of Walmore, of which the
    groom is a member, officiated.
    To the strains of Lohengrin's wedding
    march, played by Theodore D.
    Grabau. organist, the bridal party entered
    the church which was filled
    to Its capacity with friends and relatives
    of- the young couple. The bride
    presented a pretty picture, and looked
    beautiful In a gown of white satin
    back crepe with a silk chantllly lace
    oversktrt and was trimmed with
    rhinestones. Her veil was of embroidered
    Mallne and arranged. In a
    coronet style cap shape, the front
    was entirely covered with rhinestones
    and silk ohantilly lace arranged in
    a fan shape over head and shirred
    in the back. She carried a shower
    bouquet of white sweetheart roses,
    llllles of the valley and smllaz, tied
    with white chiffon ribbon and white
    satin streamers. She also wore a
    handsome string of pearls, white hose
    and white sarin slippers with large
    rhinestone buckles. The maid of
    honor, Miss Holen Mueller, sister of
    the bride, looked lovely In a pale
    flesh-color sleeveless silk georgette
    gown which had a large collar of
    the same material and a large velvet
    flower on the waist line In front She
    wore a corsage bouquet of pink and
    white sweet peas with smllax, tied
    with a sliver ribbon, a string of
    pearls, hose ami slippers to match
    her gown,
    The bridesmaids, the Misses Gertrude
    Jagow, cousin, of the groom,
    and Eleanor Walck, an Intimate
    friend of the bride, looked charming;
    Miss Jagow woro a handsome gown
    of pale green silk georgette trimmed
    with silver lace, a wide shirred girdle
    trimmed with a rhinestone buckle In
    front a three Strang string of pearls,
    hose and slippers to match her gown,
    and wore a corsage bouquets of pink
    sweet peas and smllax tied with a
    silver ribbon. Miss Walck wore a
    dainty gown of orange silk georgette
    trimmed with rhinestones, a wide
    shirred girdle, trimmed with a rhinestone
    buckle in front', a throe strand
    string of pearls, hose and slippers to
    match her gown, and wore a corsage
    bouquet of pink sweet peas and
    smllax tied with a silver ribbon. They
    all wore silk slips to match their
    gowns, The little flower girl, Alice
    Heuer, eousin ot the bride, looked
    very nice and wore a peach color silk
    crepe dressed trimmed with peach
    color satin ribbon and carried a
    basket of pink and white carnations
    and smllax The best man was Walter
    Beutel, brother of the groom, and
    the three ushers were Paul Mueller
    and Henry Mueller, brothers of tho
    bride, Edwin Beutel. brother of the
    groom, and Albert Pfuht.
    The double ring sorvlce was used.
    Benediction followed the marriage
    ceremony. Mrs. Mueller, mother of
    the bride, wore a handsome gown of
    black satin back crepe, and Mrs.
    Beutel, mother of the groom, was
    dressed in a lovely brown silk gown.
    After the services a reception for
    180 guests was held at the home of
    the groom. The house was artistically
    decorated with white and flesh
    color .crepe paper and white wedding
    bells. The tables were centered with
    roses and smilax. The bride's table,
    in the shape of a,horseshoe, was set
    for IS guests and was centered with
    two large three tiered wedding cakes.
    The bride's place was marked with a
    large white woddlng bell which hung
    from the celling with a white sstln
    ribbon, and roses. A bounteous full
    course chicken dinner was served at
    6 o'clock and again at 12 o'clock.
    Out of. town guests were present
    from Buffalo, Niagara, Falls, and
    North Tonawanda.
    After a short' wedding rrlp Mr. and
    Mrs. Beutel will be at home with
    Mr. Bnetel's mother. They received
    many beautiful and useful gifts.

    Lois E. Urtel Kelly, 83, of 77th Street, former operator of a cider mill in Sanborn, died Wednesday (Sept. 24, 1997) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness.
    A native of Elba, the former Lois E. Burling was a graduate of Batavia High School.
    She lived on Lewiston-Cambria Townline Road in Sanborn, where she and her first husband, Walter Urtel, operated a cider mill and an apple butter and pickle business. They retired in 1967, and Urtel died in 1974.
    Mrs. Urtel enjoyed playing bingo.
    Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Robert E. Kelly; a daughter, Joan Morgan of Ransomville; two sons, James McCarthy of Batavia and Richard McCarthy of Canyon Lake, TX; her stepmother, Dorothy M. Burling of Batavia; two sisters, Susan B. Weil of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Doris B. Kalicki of Stafford; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn. Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery, Cambria

    Hung Self in Barn While Family Was Away From Home - Is Found by Young Son

    Sanborn. June 10. - Hanging to a beam in his barn, by a piece of clothesline, the body of William Beutel was found about two o'clock yesterday afternoon by the dead man's youngest son, and when the nearest neighbors - summoned by tho terrified youngster - had arrived, the body was still warm, but all attempts at resuscitation failed. Beutel was about 45 years old and resided with his family, on the Lockport road, near Walmore. He had been confined in the Buffalo State hospital on two different occasions, but since his return home two years ago, his mental condition has appeared normal. Mrs. Beutel and her oldest son were in Niagara Falls when the deed was committed. Deceased is survived by his wife and four sons - Edward, Rudolph, Walter, and Erwin - all of the town of Lewiston; one brother, John Beutel of Cambria, and one sister, Mrs. William Wendt of Sanborn, He was a lifelong resident of this township and was a member of the Walmore Lutheran church.

    Philip A. Mueller, 91, of 9859 Cayuga Drive, a lifelong resident of the LaSalle area and a former papermaker, died Tuesday (May 11, 1965). Born in the former Village
    of LaSalle Mr. Mueller worked 57 years in the paper making industry here,vhaving been employed at the old Pettibone Paper Co., Niagara Wallpaper Co., Defiance Paper Co. and the International Paper Co. He retired in 1952 at the age of 78.
    Was Avid Hunter
    Mr. Mueller was an avid hunter and fisherman during his earlier years. He was a member of St James Lutheran Church in Bergholz, and for many years was active in the church choir and the band in which he played the clarinet. mr. Mueller is Mr. Mueller is survived by two daughters, Helen at home, and Mrs. Rudolph (Louise) Beutel, of Sanborn, six sons, Paul, Albert and Norman of Niagara Falls;
    Daniel Mueller of Lewiston; Rev. Henry A. Mueller Mazomania, Wis., and Rev. Marcus Mueller, Altamont, 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
    Rites on Friday
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, with Rev, Robert Lehman, officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave., from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday, and from noon Friday. The family said contributions
    to world missions services would be accepted as tributes.
