    Services for Milton H. Mueller of Sanborn, an industrial arts teacher, were held Wednesday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial was in St. James Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Wheatfield.
    Mr. Mueller died Saturday (March 6, 2004) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after suffering a heart attack at home. He was 71.
    He was born in Niagara Falls and attended St. James Lutheran School. He graduated from LaSalle High School in 1950 and from Buffalo State Teachers College in 1954.
    As a college student in the early 1950s, Mr. Mueller worked on the construction of the Niagara Power Project. He served with the Army from 1954 to 1956.
    Mr. Mueller began his teaching career in 1956 in the Lewiston-Porter Central School District. In 1959 he transferred to Niagara-Wheatfield Central School District, where he taught for 31 years before retiring.
    He was a longtime member of St. James Lutheran Church, where he was an elder. Mr. Mueller and his wife, Fern, traveled to Russia and China as missionaries, distributing Bibles. He was the television cameraman for the Niagara Ministries television program "Digging In," which is shown throughout the United States and Canada.
    He is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Fern S. Channell; two sons, Jeffery of Fargo, ND, and Douglas of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Deborah Bennion of Macomb, Mich.; a brother, Myron of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Audry Walck of Sanborn and Marilyn Mueller of New Orleans; and 10 grandchildren

    Gary N. Mielke, age 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, beloved husband of Barbara (Milleville) Mielke, passed away on March 1, 2016 after a short illness.
    He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, filled with faith and trust in his savior Jesus Christ. A member of First Assembly where he served on the board as a Deacon. Gary served in the United States Navy and was President and owner of National Traffic Service for over 30 years.
    He was the father of Deborah Leavoy (Mielke), Douglas Mielke, and Dianne Mueller (Douglas); four grandchildren, Kristene DiMarco (Jordan), Jaclyn, Deanna, Katie and two great-grandchildren, Lorelai and Nico.
    A Memorial Service is scheduled Friday, March 4th at 10:30 AM at First Assembly on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Niagara Falls, NY.

    WHEATFIELD - Edward M. Mueller, 87, of Cayuga Drive Extension, died Thursday (Oct. 19, 1989) in Mount St, Mary's Hospital, Town Of Lewiston.
    Mueller was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield.
    He was a former Wheatfield town justice and was employed at the National Grinding Wheel Co. for 35 years. Be was a 50 year member of the Co-op Fire Insurance Corp. of Bergholz and served as its president for a number of years, as well as on the board of directors.
    Mueller was actively involved with the Cataract Camera Club and was a recipient of many awards. He was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church, holding numerous offices over the years. After retirement he involved himself in the activities of the Retired Men's Service Club and especially enjoyed singing in its chorus. He was a member of the North German Historical Society. He was also first president of St. James Lutheran Church congregation.
    He was the husband of Edna (DeVantier) Mueller, who died in l984 and was father of the late Lowell Mueller.
    Mueller is survived by daughters, Audrey Walck of Sanborn and Marilyn Mueller of New Orleans; sons, Milton Mueller of Sanborn and Myron Mueller of North Tonawanda; and a sister, Whilimine (sic) Heuer of Ohio; nine ,grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz.
    Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Niagara Road, Bergholz, with the Rev. David B. Menz officiating. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz. Contributions to St. James Lutheran Church Building Fund or World Hunger.

    Erna O. Mielke, 86, of 92nd Street, died Tuesday (Dec. 15, 1992) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
    She was born in Columbia. Mich.. to the Rev. Otto and Grace (Grabau) Bruss.
    She lived in Niagara Falls for most of her life. She was employed at the Belleview Dress Shop for 35 years prior to retiring in May 1991. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz.
    Mrs. Mielke was the wife of Raymond Mielke, who died in 1965.
    She is survived by a son, Gary N. Mielke of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Dawn C. Glenn of Niagara Falls; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was the stepdaughter of the late Olga Bruss and sister of the late Ariel Greiner, Elfrieda Decker, Roland Bruss and Gerald Bruss.

    Erna O. Mielke, 86, of 92nd Street, a retired employee of the Bellevue Dress Shop, died Tuesday (Dec. 15, 1992) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
    A native of Columbia, Mich., the former Erna O. Bruss was a longtime resident of Niagara Falls. She worked at the dress shop for 35 years until she retired in 1991.
    Mrs. Mielke was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
    Surviving are a son, Gary N.; a daughter, Dawn C. Glenn; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz.

    He was born Sept. 16, 1917. in Niagara Falls. the son of Rudolph and Lydia (Williams) Milleville. He was the co-owner and operator of R. Milleville Dairy. where he worked for 46 years. He retired in 1980.
    Mr. Milleville was a charter member and past president of the LaSalle Lion's Club. a 60-year member and past president of the LaSalle Business and Professional Association, a past president of the LaSalle YMCA and chairman of the board of the Cooperative Fire Insurance Co. of Bergholz. A lifemember of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mr. Milleville also was an elder and a member of the building committee.
    He enjoyed fishing. bowling, photography and woodworking.
    He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Verna (Belling) Milleville of Niagara Falls; three daughters.     Verna A. (Belling) Milleville, of Niagara Falls, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at home. She was 93. She was born in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY on June 29, 1914, a daughter of the late Henry and Augusta (Ewald) Belling. She attended North Tonawanda schools. Mrs. Milleville was employed by Finishing Enterprises and retired in 1979 after 11 years. A member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mrs. Milleville was active with its women’s and quilting group. She enjoyed craft work and making jewelry. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert W. Milleville; a brother, Hugo Belling; four sisters, Clara DeGlopper, Norma Wells, Alice Belling and Florence Leaver.
