    SANBORN - John N. Blank, 60,. at 3197 Lockport Road, died Sunday (Jan. 19,1969) in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of the Town of Wheatfield and had been an inspector at the Carborundum Company for over 35 years. He was an exempt member of the Sanborn Fire Company.
    Survivors include his wife, Irma; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Dianne) Retzlaff; a son, Darrel J. Blank; a sister, Mrs. Elton (sic) Wendt, all of Sanborn, and seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m. in St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, with the Rev. Robert Lehman officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home Inc., Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 , and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

    Irma E. (DeVantier) Blank. 87, of Lockport Road, died Wednesday (April 13, 1994) at her daughter's home.
    A native of Wheatfield, she was born Jan. 28, 1907, the daughter of Albert and Alma (Williams) DeVantier. She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz. Mrs. Blank loved quilting, gardening and Bible study class. She was a homemaker most of her life.
    She was the widow of John N. Blank, who died Jan. 19, 1969. Mrs. Blank is survived by a daughter. Dianne Retzlaff of Sanborn; a son, Darrell Blank of Sanborn; a brother, Alfred DeVantier of Sanborn; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was the mother of the late Sandra Blank and was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
    Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. The Rev. David B. Menz will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday in SI. James Lutheran Church, comer of Rohr Street and Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in SI. James Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.

    Irma E. Blank, 87, of Lockport Road, a lifelong resident of Wheatfield, died Wednesday (April 13, 1994) in the Lockport Road home of her daughter, Dianne Retzlaff.
    The former Irma DeVantier was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
    Mrs. Blank taught Bible study classes and enjoyed quilting and gardening.
    Her husband, John N., died in 1969.
    In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, Darrell, and a brother, Alfred DeVantier, both of Sanborn; eight
    grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in St. James Lutheran Church, Rohr Street and Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery

    Was Lifelong Resident of Bergholtz Vicinity.
    BERGHOLTZ, Dec. 11-Albert F. DeVantier, 77 years old, a lifelong and well known resident of the Town of Wheatfield, died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Stenzel, of the Niagara Falls boulevard. Mr. DeVantier was formerly engaged in farming, having retired about 12 years ago. He was a member of St. James church and in former years took an active interest in church and social affairs in Bergholtz.
    He is survived by six sons, Hugo, Harold and John, of Bergholtz, Edward and Bernard, of Niagara Falls, and Alfred, of Sanborn; five daughters. Mrs. John Voelker, of Buffalo, Mrs. Stenzel. of Bergholtz, Mrs. William Groening (sic), Jr., and Mrs. John Blank, Jr., of Sanborn, and Mrs. Edward Mueller, of Niagara. Falls; 22 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. August Kroening, of Sanborn.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stenzel home and at 2:30 from St. James church, Bergholtz. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate and interment will be in St. James cemetery.

Mrs. Alma DeVantier, 50 years old, of tho Niagara Falls boulevard, Bergholz, died Thursday afternoon at the DeGraff Memorial Hospital following an operation for appendicitis. She was a life-long resident of the Town of Wheatfield. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at St Martin's Church, Bergholz. Rev. Otto Bruss will -conduct the services and interment will be in St Martin's cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Albert F. DeVantier; five daughters. Mrs. John Proefrock. 9 Fremont street, North Tonawanda where he had been making his home for the past few months. Born in Bergholtz, Germany Mr. Williams came to this country when five years old with his parents. Since then he had made his home in Bergholtz and vicinity operating an extensive farm. He is survived by three sons. John and Ferdinand, of Lockport, and Philip A., of Niagara Falls, three daughters, Mrs. Proefrock, of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Fred W. Lindke. of Medina, and Mrs. Rudolph Mlllevllle, of Niagara Falls; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a brother, Gustav Williams, of Sanborn. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Proefroc.k home and at 2:30 at St. James' church in this village, The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate and interment will be in St. James' cemetery, Bergholtz.

    WILLIAMS-Lydia, aged 73 years, wife of Ferdinand A. Williams, departed this life at noon Oct. 22nd. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband, three sons and four daughters, John F. and Ferdinand B. of Lockport and Philip A. of this city, Mrs. Albert De Vantier of St. Johnsburg, Mrs. John Proefrock of Tonawanda. Mrs. Rudolph Melville (sic) of La Salle. Miss Helena Williams of Lockport, one sister and four brothers and 19 grandchildren survive her. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 25th at 2 :00 o'clock from her late residence and 2 :30 from St. Jacobi church at Bergholz. Rev. O. Bruss officiating.
