    KENNETH ARTHUR RETZLAFF, age 84 of Wheatfield, NY, went to his heavenly home, surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Niagara Hospice, on November 25, 2020, at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 8, 1936, son of the late Arthur and Lilly (Pfuhl) Retzlaff. He was a life long member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sanborn. Ken graduated from Trott Vocational High School. He married Dianne Blank on May 17, 1957, and they enjoyed 63 wonderful years together. Ken was a farmer all his life, a member of the Wheatfield Zoning Board, then elected eight terms as a Wheatfield Town Councilman, serving for 32 years, and as Deputy Supervisor. He was a member of the Wheatfield Republican Club, was a trustee at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, and a member of the building committee of the new addition of the church. Ken enjoyed golfing, hunting, and spending time at the cabin.Survivors include his loving wife; six children, Brian (Sandra) Retzlaff, Gary Retzlaff, Sandra (Steven) Lange, Carol (Leonard) Binns, David (Allison) Retzlaff, Dale (Lisa) Retzlaff; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice (Leonard) Walck, brother, Willis (Lois) Retzlaff, and brother-in-law, Darrell (Nancy) Blank. Friends may call on Saturday (Nov. 28) from 9-11 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Thorstad, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, or Niagara Hospice. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.

    WHEATFIELD ..;. Lily A. (Pfohl) Retzlaff, 84 of Lockport Road, died Friday (June 17, 1988) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Town of Lewiston.
    A Wheatfield native, she lived in the town all her life.
    She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Walmore Road.
    She was the wife of Arthur Retzlaff, who died in 1981, and sister of the late Henry Pfohl.
    Mrs. Retzlaff is survived by a daughter, Alice Walck of the Town of Lewiston; sons, Willis S. Retzlaff and Kenneth A. Retzlaff, both of Wheatfield; a sister, Ella Mueller; a brother, Adolph Pfohl both of Wheatfield; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Stephen P. Roehrs. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions to the church are acceptable as tribute.

    SANBORN - John N. Blank, 60,. at 3197 Lockport Road, died Sunday (Jan. 19,1969) in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of the Town of Wheatfield and had been an inspector at the Carborundum Company for over 35 years. He was an exempt member of the Sanborn Fire Company.
    Survivors include his wife, Irma; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Dianne) Retzlaff; a son, Darrel J. Blank; a sister, Mrs. Elton (sic) Wendt, all of Sanborn, and seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m. in St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholtz, with the Rev. Robert Lehman officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home Inc., Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 , and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

    Irma E. (DeVantier) Blank. 87, of Lockport Road, died Wednesday (April 13, 1994) at her daughter's home.
    A native of Wheatfield, she was born Jan. 28, 1907, the daughter of Albert and Alma (Williams) DeVantier. She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz. Mrs. Blank loved quilting, gardening and Bible study class. She was a homemaker most of her life.
    She was the widow of John N. Blank, who died Jan. 19, 1969. Mrs. Blank is survived by a daughter. Dianne Retzlaff of Sanborn; a son, Darrell Blank of Sanborn; a brother, Alfred DeVantier of Sanborn; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was the mother of the late Sandra Blank and was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
    Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. The Rev. David B. Menz will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday in SI. James Lutheran Church, comer of Rohr Street and Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in SI. James Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.

    Irma E. Blank, 87, of Lockport Road, a lifelong resident of Wheatfield, died Wednesday (April 13, 1994) in the Lockport Road home of her daughter, Dianne Retzlaff.
    The former Irma DeVantier was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
    Mrs. Blank taught Bible study classes and enjoyed quilting and gardening.
    Her husband, John N., died in 1969.
    In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, Darrell, and a brother, Alfred DeVantier, both of Sanborn; eight
    grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday in St. James Lutheran Church, Rohr Street and Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery
